“Luxurious propert, GREAT staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 weeks ago

We stayed there for three nights. Vicki was the front desk manager was gracious enough to upgrade us to a suite. What a treat. We have stayed at many luxury oriented properties, but in terms of attention to details, this one was the tops. location was central and even though there was not much of a snow fall yet, we enjoyed the scenery very much. Nick was the night desk manager and was a great conversationalist. We enjoyed all his insights. Again, many thanks to Vicki and Nick. They made our stay very enjoyable. We WILL come back.

Room Tip: The suite 604A on 6th floor was fabulous

We spent one night there to celebrate our anniversary (and to get the 5000 bonus points). Check-in was fast and friendly. I assumed it was valet only, but you can self park underground once you have a room key. The elevator at garage level took us right to our floor. Room was average size to large. Cute gas fireplace. Large balcony. Large bathroom. Lots of drawer space. Could easily fit four people with lots of space for clothes and stuff. Very nice medium sized fridge. Not the usual small dorm style. Microwave. Wet bar. Glasses, dishes, utensils. Ihome clock and dock station. Didn't have a TV remote, but they brought one up within 10 minutes after calling.

There's really nothing to complain about at this place. The only thing I might mention is that they might think about having bath mats for the tub. It was kind of slippery while taking a shower. And there was no pay per view movie option, which I thought was different. We were going to kick back and watch a movie, but it was not to be. And no online check-out, but a quick call in the morning took care of that.

I thought the place was gorgeous and watching deer walk by at 2 am from the balcony was really special. Very nice place.

There's a $20 resort fee. What hotel doesn't have one these days? I'm pretty sure parking was free.

Room Tip: I doubt there are any bad rooms. We had a great nights sleep and were only three doors from the ele...

Good Afternoon! Glad you liked the Deer, we have a Mama Moose and baby that stops by also! As our TV's aren't compatable for pay for view we just yesterday installed a complimentary first run DVD and Blue Ray rental kisok in the lobby. Next time you visit there will be movies available.
Happy Thanksgiving!

This is the third year we have gone to the Hyatt Escala Lodge and it is a tradition that we hope to continue for years to come. As on previous visits the staff was pleasant and helpful and at check in when I was told that if I needed anything to please let them know, it felt sincere. Our two bedroom suite had tons of room, with balconies facing all directions of the compass. The beds were great. Kitchen was well stocked. The outdoor heated pools are a nice place to be, with plenty of room and couples, families, and those enjoying a girls night out. We needed a toothbrush and were pleased by the number of amenities the hotel could provide and how quick it was in a sack at our door.

This was a beautiful hotel! We went in the off season for my son's birthday and they upgraded our room free-of-charge. There wasn't much open as far as food service (hence the off season) but the room was large and well kept and the desk staff was very friendly and helpful.

Our only complaint is that upon departure, we left an Ipad charging in the wall. We realized this as we were driving home and called the hotel. They said the room had not been cleaned yet and they would have an "engineer" go check. They called back a few minutes later and said it wasn't there. We made several more calls to see if it turned up and no luck. They insisted that maybe they didn't notice and it got sent away with the laundry. It was an unfortunate mistake that we left it in the room, but I am disappointed that whatever worker found it didn't turn it in.

We went up to the Escala Lodge for Valentines day this year. The experience was pleasant, the resort well-located with nice rooms. The 1 bedroom king suite we had was very well appointed with Wolf and SubZero appliances in the kitchen. The room was showing some wear and tear. The suite had a fireplace in the bedroom and the living room, with two separate balconies for each room. The bathroom was a waste of space, being too large and being a bit chilly compared to the rest of the suite. The hotel is located more toward the top of the Canyons, but convenient to the main road and downtown Park City. The resort did not have a "proper" restaurant as one would expect from a resort in this price range. The menu selection limited to 2-3 substantive entrees and several sandwiches, which was very disappointing~!

we went in the off season November 8-11; we just wanted to see if it would be a place to return with family for a ski trip; there is a lift literally steps from our room; would be so convenient to stay there and ski; the staff was so helpful; I had called a few times to get info and they were so helpful; our check in was early because we arrived early and they let us have the room with no questions asked. we were offered an upgrade for a fee, but the room we had could NOT have been nicer; it was spacious, nicely furnished, had a wonderful fireplace, a large and wonderful bath and walk in shower and a microwave, fridge and sink; it was all so nice; we had coffee in the room in the mornings. the bed was very comfortable and overall it was an excellent property and stay.

Room Tip: I believe all the views are nice; it is at the base of the mountain, and just looking around, I woul...

My wife and I stayed at the Hyatt Escala Lodge on November 1, 2014 and it surpassed our expectations. The staff was very friendly and responsive, and we really felt spoiled. Our Suite was beautiful and huge, and the lodge is pet-friendly so it was a real treat to have our dog stay the night with us at the hotel. The pool and hot tub area was amazing and their fitness center is nicer than any hotel's fitness center that I have seen. Bottom line - if you are looking for a place to stay in Park City and want to be treated like a king, the Hyatt Escala Lodge is the place.
