5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 8, 2014 via mobile

Excellent hotel in park city. From our arrival Quadro received us with open arms. Just like home. The room was precious and clean. Very very spacious. Parking is excellent and close to rooms. Staff is more than helpful. We enjoyed the wine degustation as an excellent ice breaker on Monday. My son loved the cheese and I enjoyed the red wine. Hot tub is center piece of hotel where every body meets after a good day of skiing. Hotel manager is close to every detail in the hotel so it is very well maintained. Will be back for shure next year. Saludos Joel, Pau and Joel.

Safe travels.

The indoor pool, hot tub, sauna and location are great! Underground parking (height limit of 6' 10") is nice in the winter. They have a little Fiesta get-together on Wed evenings with complimentary Margueritas and chips and guacamole. We missed out on their Mon evening wine get together. Complimentary shuttle to the ski area or you can hop on the free city bus instead.
Our studio was a little small but they also have a larger studio and of course, one bedroom units. We will stay there again.

Dear Randycoeur,

It was our pleasure to have you stay with us and we're glad you enjoyed our Margarita nights!

We look forward to seeing your stay again and yes... a Mini, 1 or 2 Bedroom are the larger units.

Safe Travels.

We stayed at the Park Plaza for the month of February as we do every year and this year was the best yet. We had 2 weeks in a Mini and 2 weeks in a 2 bedroom, all on the 3rd floor. The 2 bedroom was already remodeled and we loved it, the mini will be done this fall and look forward to staying in it next year. The units are clean and well maintained. Any requests for minor maintenance or to housekeeping are always taken care of promptly. The Wine and Cheese on Monday night is greatly improved from last year and the increased attendance shows it. The recently added Margarita Party on Wed. is also well attended and we thoroughly enjoyed it too. Great chances at both to meet other guests staying at the resort and to chat with acquaintances from previous years. The front desk is always friendly and we enjoyed seeing the smiling faces of Pat, Damir and Kwadwo every day, as well as Art, the shuttle driver. It's nice returning every year to see the same staff that knows your name. Brittany efficiently handled our reservations for next year. One last thanks goes to Janeth, the Resort's General Manager, who has done so much over the past 7 years to make this place and our vacation special.

Room Tip: Rooms in the front have the best view.

We have been to Park Plaza 3 times now and enjoy it each time. We have gotten to know the staff and it is like "coming home" when we go back. Great facility, and great area to visit. We love going Labor Day weekend and taking in the Sheep Dog competition at Soldier Hollow.

The check in was seamless, of course Janeth was there to ensure everything went well for every guest checking in on this busy Saturday. Kwadwo Minter provided exceptional service throughout my stay. When I thought I'd lost my diabetic blood glucose meter and was inquiring at the lost-and-found, he asked if he could provide an extra that he had at home. As it turned out I found mine and didn't take him up on the offer, but just an example of the excellent service provided by front desk staff.

Room Tip: I always ask for a room on the 3d floor, to avoid hearing those with "heavy feet."

Our family of five skiers stayed in a two-bedroom condo during the Sochi Olympics, skiing the days and rooting for the considerable Park City contigent on team USA. The desk was courteous and efficent at our 1 AM, day-late arrival. Lobby and common areas were well-maintained. I felt comfortable with skis locked on the rack of our Expedition in the electrically-gated, enclosed underground garage. The resort is three-stories, surrounding a common atrium over a decent-sized pool with 12+ seater Jacuzzi. I though it odd at first, but the large, adjoining pool area takes the pressure off the apres-ski rush to hot tub: Think of other resorts, in a bathing suit, standing in snow, waiting for someone else to get out. Our accomodations were a large master, 2nd bedroom with two twins, and a fold-out queen in the living room. The suite had three full bathrooms and three HDTV's. We enjoyed the gas-log fireplace nightly. No granite, Formica and oak cabinetry (a ski resort!), all new and clean, and spacious. Short drives to slopes. One day I used resort's ~ 5 minute free shuttle.( to/from Deer Valley, Park Mountain Resort, downtown P.C.) No "ski-in-ski-out," situated in quiet, almost residential setting. Only real knock: Little "neighbor-noise," but resort construction with squeaks in joists: Always first awake early and couldn't tip-toe lightly enough. Check "Yelp" app review of GrubSteak restaurant: across the street-good salad bar, western atmosphere, loved the prime rib, and yes, bread puding was delicious. Wine, meals, deserts= ~ $35 pp.+ tip.

Room Tip: First floor (might) have quieter flooring. We were room 208-right off stairs to first floor pool an...

Dear Docclaw,

We're happy you enjoyed the Two Bedroom Condo and found it to be great for your ski group. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback as I know other travelers are certainly appreciative of the perspective of guests such as you who have stayed with us before.

My wife and I were pleasantly surprised at how nice a resort the Park Plaza really is. And it is conveniently located in the middle of 3 excellent ski areas - The Canyons, Park City, and Deer Valley. We exchanged a time share through RCI after consulting tripadvisor. All the reviews we relied upon were dead on. The facilities were in very good shape for a 27 year old property. And quite frankly, this was one of the best RCI properties we have visited. We did not find much in the way of deferred or neglected maintenance. Quite to our surprise the equipment in their health club was nearly new and in great shape as well. My only minor complaint was with the enforcement of rules for minors. Many of the so called "owners" at this resort felt it was OK and their right to let their over indulged children run wild in the place. On my fourth day I witnessed a father and his two boys under 10 years old come into the health club in bear feet with wet dripping bathing suits. When they jumped on the treadmills and other aerobic machines to horse around I tried to tactfully point out the rules to their father. Well this clueless Dad ripped into me and told me he was an owner and would replace anything that his kids messed up. Oh well so much for today's approach to parenting. Other than the minor problem with unruly children, I would recommend this resort without any reservations.

Room Tip: I would highly recommend that you request a room on the third floor to avoid the noise that comes th...

Dear Lippy1960,

We are very happy to read your review. We take great pride in looking after our resort so that it looks as nice as the newer properties in Park City. We are constantly renovating. We have a 20 year plan we follow to ensure we maintain the property well.

We're sorry to hear about your experience in the fitness room. The enjoyment of all our guests is paramount and we do our best to manage those situations so they do not occur again by speaking one on one with the owner or guest.

Nonetheless we're happy to hear you found our central location convenient to the three ski resorts. Please do consider us again for your next exchange into Park City.

Safe Travels.

Hannah Zulueta and the Park Plaza Resort Team.
