“It was a great place to stay”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2009

Even though they were remolding the main lobby, the accommodation were more than what we expected. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Kids slept in the front room on a couch that turned into a bed. Having a mini kitchen was great and with a frig. My wife enjoyed the evenings sitting out on the patio deck drinking her glass of wine. Lets not forget the enclosed heated pool that stayed open till 11pm.
We stayed at the Monte Carlo the week prior with no kitchenette, not even a micro and we had to be out of the pool by 7pm.
For the price I highly recommend it.

I have been staying here for years as I attend the film festival every year. I find all of the people that work there very nice and helpful, they have a free shuttle service that is convenient, and the rooms are certainly OK. Not extravagant at all, but certainly better than a lot of places that I have stayed and I travel extensively.

The place is a bit old and worn, but clean and it has a pool and hot tub, WiFi, and a great location easy to get anywhere from. I recommend it.

This was the worst hotel we have ever stayed at. Dirty, shoddy, no amenities, run-down - they should not be allowed to call themselves a resort. There is nothing "resort-like" about it. The whole place is like a badly re-worked apartment building that should be demolished. There were spiders and ants in our cramped, dirty, uncomfortable little room. The bathroom was filthy - I made them come clean it. The carpet was worse - not even vaccumed before we checked in. Although it appeared freshly painted, there was grime, hair, and food stuff on the walls and baseboards. YUCK! The only nice thing about the stay was the towels were soft and lush and the bed itself was comfortable.

DON"T BELIEVE THE PICTURE ON HERE.... it is FALSE!!!!
Prior to our stay I rcv'd a letter stating they were doing some updates. I called to ask if we could get an updated room. The response, "They are all updated". When we walked in, it felt like a crappy hotel, with some new paint. The appliances were VERY old. The bed was worse than sleeping on the floor! Some friends came up a few days later and got an updated room, with new appliances and bed. Not to mention there is no sep. kitchen. It is thrown in the living room, with a table pushed up against one wall. No place for storing food either. On the 3rd day we were told we could move to a new updated room, which we took. The problem was we needed to be out of the old room immediately. We rushed to gather all of our stuff and move rooms, we were late to a boat reservation! When we got back from the lake we realized we had left some shoes in the old room and went to ask about them. The front desk guy told us to go into the old room it was empty! After all of the running around and being late, there was no need afterall! UGH! The next day, I was on my own with two small kids. We swam in the AM and went to go back to our room, only to find our key wouldn't open the door. We went to the front desk, there was nobody there. We checked back in 15 min. Still nobody (remind you it is in the morning) was there. I called the after hours number and she said someone would be there in 15 min. because they were on a smoke break! I tried back in another 10 min (IT HAD BEEN ALMOST BEEN A HALF HOUR!) still nobody showed up. After numerous calls to the after hours number a maintance man showed up to our door OVER AN HOUR LATER! Nobody from the front desk seemed to care! He couldn' t fix the door so they moved us AGAIN! There was nothing good about the stay there EXCEPT for Park City and surronding areas. You get what you pay for... this is simply a Motel 6 with a Park Regency sign. The front desk people are rude and are never there and the the MOTEL itself needs to be torn down!!!

We had booked a 6 night stay at the Park Regency which was part of a vacation package we own through RCI which should have cost us $69 for the 6 nights however we recieved a call from the front desk of the Park Regency approximately 3pm telling us we should have checking out by 11am. Upon explaining that our record showed reservations through the next morning, they replied that they would just charge the credit card we used for the deposit the nightly rental rate of $210. By the way the place is not worth $210 a night when you can stay at the Mariott right on the Slopes for $199 per night.

The hotel is in a nice location, close to everything. We were upgraded to a bigger suite that was newly remodeled, just for the heck of it. It was very nice! The staff was very friendly. The fireplace was a nice touch. We liked the bath robes that they let us use during our stay. The only problems that we ran into was that the brochures they gave about the sites to see and restaurants weren't up to date. Many of the restaurants were closed due to the time of the season, as well as many of the sites to see. It would have been nice to know this. It would have saved us a lot of driving trips. Also the fitness center isn't really a fitness center. It only had a few machines that didn't work that well. Overall though it was a nice place to stay and get away.

It was a good trip. Hotel was very convenient to everywhere. We rented a car but there were free shuttle busses to ski area. Hotel was in a little mall. You can eat subway or taco. Across the street, there are Starbucks, bakery, Mexican restaurant, vs. On Kearns blvd, there is a market and prices are affordable. We have a little kitchen, and breakfast wasn't a problem. If you want you can go to main st. which is very close. There are restaurant and cafes.
First night the guy at front desk gave us a room that heater was broken. We arrived at 9.30 pm. After 11.00 pm , there were nobody in front desk. It was a freezing night. In the morning, the girl named Tati or Tani explained that there is a building problem and they are trying to fix it. When we came back at 5.00 pm, after ski we were very tired and cold; it wasn't fixed. Maintanence guy, NIKKU, came and explained that the problem wasn't new, and there are only two rooms like that. Obviously she lied us and try to fool us. Nikku helped us and we changed the room. He came several time to check that everything is OK. He was a great guy and we are thankful to him.
Any of cleaning ladies can speak English and you can't contact with them. We did not receive any room service but it wasn't big deal. Because we weren't at the room all day. We had enough towels and other materials.
Except that night and that girl, It was a wonderful ski trip for our family.
