“Might be the best Hampton in the system.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2013

Great hotel with a great staff. I had a very spacious one bedroom suite with a kitchen that was just terrific. The hotel is very convenient to nearby shopping and just a short drive into Park City. Highly recommended as a great place for a weekend getaway, as the hotel is only about 35 minutes from the Salt Lake airport. Off-season pricing is very reasonable as well.

Typical newer Hampton Inn in design and services. Good value mid-class hotel for Park City. Staff are efficient, though not overly friendly / Helpful. Location is Mixed - Good for Access to Freeway / Local Outlet Stores. Out of the main part of Park City / Skiing. Approx. 30-min Drive time to SLC airport. Approx. 10-min Drive time to Main Street Park City. Approx. 5-Min Drive time to closest Ski Area.

Stayed here on business for five nights. Was able to get a one bedroom kitchen suite since I was here during the off season. Of note, if the roads are in good condition, the hotel is only 20-30 minutes away from Salt Lake City.

The "good" - very clean and spacious room (keep in mind that this was a one bedroom suite which was around 450 square feet). Everything was clean, staff was pleasant, good water pressure and great location near the interstate. Bed was great and there was an amazing number of TV stations to watch.

The "OK" - breakfast was typical but not as in depth as other Hampton Inns that I have stayed at. No super views - either the parking lot, interstate, or the back of an outlet mall are your choices.

The "needs to be improved" - the WiFi tested at only .5 down and .2 up - very annoying since I need to remote in to work on a regular basis. Hulu, YouTube and Netflix also struggled to stream media. Also - there was no desk in the room so I had to use the coffee table in the living room or the bar/counter in the kitchen to work from.

The "wish it could be improved" - noise. This property has been remodeled but the basic structure is not too solid - you can hear water running and every step that someone takes in the hallway or the room above.

Overall - I would stay here again but would bring my 4G to wireless converter since there is great 4G coverage in this area.

Room Tip: 4th (top) floor would likely be quieter - note that the 2nd floor has smoking rooms.

Thank you for your detailed review. I am very happy to learn that you enjoyed our location and that you found your room to be very clean and comfortable.

I do want to apologize for the slow WiFi. We are aware that our system needs an update and we are in the process of doing just that! We had to wait for warmer weather to be allowed to bore under Landmark Drive. Within a few weeks that upgrade should be underway. I have high hopes that before Summer this will no longer be an issue.

I assure you, I wish the noise issue could be improved as well. Noise issues are a common complaint at many hotels. We are continually working to improve this situation.

Thank you again for your detailed review. I am glad you would stay with us again and I hope to see you soon.

Warm Regards,
Melissa Smith

We have family in Midway Utah, and we try to visit them 3 or 4 times a year. We have some special needs which makes it desirable to have some privacy at night so we elect to stay at the subject Hotel. I have been a Hilton Honers Member for 20 Years and in the past traveled the US extensively. I made it a habit to find Hilton properties where ever I could and always found them excellent. I also took my wife along whenever possible and she shared my choice of Hiltons. We now travel only a little but still find that Hilton properties ae our first choice. On this last stay we were especially grateful for the bed in our room at the Park City Ham;ton Inn aand Suites. My wife has sever back problems and the bed in our room provided the best nights sleep she has had for some time. I have therefore initiated action to purchase an identical Mattress and are grateful that that is possible through the Hilton at Home process. WE again want to thank the staff at this Hampton for their service and consideration for a senior couple with some special needs and their gratitude and commitment to stay there in the future. Very friendly and knowledgeable. We stayed at the double queen suite with fully equipped kitchen- which is very convenient if you are coming for a ski trip. The suite was very clean and spacious. We will stay there again! Thank you.

We were there for a ski trip. The location is good for all three ski resorts. The complimentary bus service provided by Park City Transit has a bus stop in front of the hotel, which is very convenient if you don't have a car. The staff in front desk, Jess, German....all were very friendly and helpful. To hit the slope as early as possible, we had our breakfast at 6:30am every morning. The ladies in the kitchen kept the food counter neatly and always full of supply, fresh fruit, hot dishes(sausage, bacon, pancake, eggs), fresh coffee. The hotel lobby welcome skiers with warm cookies and hot chocolate every afternoon. Though the room with two queen beds was a bit smaller than expected, but clean and has a view. We didn't use the pool because it was always full of people in the evening. Overall, It was a very nice stay. We felt comfortable there and definitely will come back next ski season.
