Pretty much every motel in the area seems to call itself a "resort." But there's nothing we could find to qualify the Bryce Canyon Western as a resort. Still, it's a darn good motel. The rooms are large, clean, comfortable, and equipped with mini-fridges and reliable TV reception. The location is great - right at the junctions of Routes 89 & 12. There's a nice little grocery just up the highway in Panguitch... and you're just a few miles from Red and Bryce Canyons. The "old-west" buildings have porches set with benches, and we found ourselves sitting out in the evenings, chatting with the neighbors. The free breakfast is nothing to write home about... but it's free.
