“Rustic, homey feeling, excellent management.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 2, 2013

As others have stated, this was once a boys ranch. I can see that the new owners are working hard to make this a pleasant place to stay. Very quiet and peaceful. Breakfast offerings included a waffle iron for fresh waffles, cereal, danish and hard boiled eggs (although they seemed a bit over done). The rooms were very quiet (we were in 805, ground level on an end), the bed was very comfortable, towels were new, soft. Our shower was equipped with a handheld sprayer and was handicapped accessible, which made it nice not having to step over a partition. If we ever come back to the area, we would gladly stay there again..

3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2013

It's so new the room still smelled of fresh paint. The room was nicely furnished, the llnens were new and the internet signal was strong. The location is not ideal. We had to drive seven miles into Panguich for dinner. The breakfast was very basic with carbs and oranges and the view was of an overflowing dumpster. The real test will be how this place is kept up. The shower had hair and gunk, the light fixtures dirty, the new carpeting was fraying, the paint was already begining to chip and the breakfast room had cereal crushed into the rug and dirty counters. The parking área is gravel which may be a problem for those with mobility issues. This is a unique hotel with the different "bunk houses" and the location is beautiful, but I can't predict how it will evolve.

This former boy's ranch was only open 3 days when we stopped there. Many renovations are still occurring and it is easy to see how hard the new owners have been working. The price is excellent with a breakfast included and the parking lot which was near empty at 1 p.m. loaded up with cars by 8 p.m. Resort is located right on Hwy 89, 7 miles past Panguitch and just BEFORE the turn on UT-12E to Bryce Canyon. Excellent location for access Bryce.
