“Not a lot of time???”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2012

Really, there's not much on 25th street that's really impressive. If you have something better to do- you could skip this and not miss much.

“Back to the Wild West”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2012

Famed for being one of the wildest streets in the Wild West, 25th Street has now become a great spot for strolling, exploring, eating, and shopping. There are no chains here; all the shops are unique, the restaurants great local finds. With Union Station at one end (where the Central and Union Pacific Rails met), and towering mountains at the other, 25th Street district is a fantastic place to travel back in time. Some of the shop owners (especially at the large pawn shop near Union Station) seem straight from the late 1800s. A fascinating but humble spot, much preferred to anything in SLC!

“Three blocks of good stolling”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2012

Spent the weekend at the adjacent Marriott with my wife and strolled 25th street for a lunch and a Sunday brunch at Roosters and dinners at both La Ferrovia Ristorante and Soul & Bones. Everyone everywhere was very friendly, served very good fare (and great beer), and my expert shopping spouse enjoyed popping into specialty stores here. Enjoyed it much more in Ogden than Salt Lake City.
Also helped that is was a sunny 80 degrees for our entire visit.
