We stayed here for 3 reasons; the previous review, the location to Zion National Park and the fact that dogs were allowed. We had planned on staying for at least two nights but after the first night we changed plans and moved to Motel 6 in Hurricane, Utah which was a wise decision. The problems we encountered were the following; the beds are very uncomfortable. We both woke with back aches. The window
coverings are very worn, thin drapes with no lining, including black-out lining. This makes the rooms very well lit even in the dark. The area for pets is behind the motel where there is a stream but the landscape has not been taken care of. Lots of dead branches and twigs. Walking there at night would be dangerous. The thing that really grossed us out was the shower cutain. Although it appeared to be clean, it was at least 8-10 inches too long and laid in the bottom
of the bath tub. There would be no way to keep that clean.

The room was clean and cheap. We paid $38.00 plus $5.00 for our dog. The property is very run down and in need of repair.

The restaurant food was only average and the wait for your food is pretty long.

Staff is wonderful. We got the impression that this Hotel was family owned. The Family Suites are two rooms joined together with shared restroom. Door in second room is shut permanently with screws. One room had cable the other didn’t. Staff did offer DVD’s. Refrigerator did not work. The Hotel has potential. Behind the Hotel is a stream/creek. Wildlife abounds. One of the owners was talking about the plans for renovations. Until then I would stay across the street but please do not miss the opportunity to eat at their restaurant. Unbelievable food and service. Chicken Alfredo that would put most five star restaurants to shame..... Home made soups unbelievable. Over all a good experience.
