“ok stay”

My husband and I just stayed in the honeymoon suite for are anniversary it was nice,But a few things where alittle worn and somethings like the light fixtures were missing and some light bulbs! The window above the tub had really cheap blinds and one of the slats was missing. And what was really weird was there was a latter lying next to the window. We didn't know what to think about that.Something's needed paint and the waterfall in the tub was broke.I just think there is too much use in this room and not enough repair!I did enjoy my stay and the breakfast was great!!I just think $245 is a lot to spend on a room that is that run down. The other rooms looked a lot nicer.I liked the Mill Pond room best in person more then any other room.

This is absolutely the most romantic, wonderful place to get married!
You rent the entire bed and breakfast, so you can have 6 people spend the night! There are swans in the pond, beautiful gardens for the best photography. You bring in your own caterer. It was absolutely everything I wanted for my outdoor, romantic garden wedding! We were married in 2002 and will return for anniversaries!

After some research, I decided to take my wife to the Johnson Mill B&B for an anniversary getaway.

We stayed in the Honeymoon Suite, which was large, tastefully decorated, and had spectacular views on three sides. An oversized jacuzzi and river rock shower were wonderful and relaxing. A small but comfortable loveseat was positioned in front of the 32" TV. They have an excellent collection of several hundred videos (not DVDs) to choose from, both classics and current releases. The room also had a nice enclosed fireplace.

I really liked the overall style of this B&B, which is different from your standard boxy neutral room, jacuzzi and TV arrangement. It also didn't have the contrived Caveman/Venice/Treehouse types of decor. This place has a lot of nice touches and character, which adds to the romantic atmosphere. The hosts were very friendly and accomodating.

We opted to have breakfast brought to us, but some enjoy visiting with the other guests. The quiche, coffee cake, fruit and orange juice were perfect, not too filling.

Although it was winter, the grounds were still picturesque - a small pond with a waterwheel, swans, a waterfall, and a winding creek were all beautiful.

The only negatives were no DVDs, the parking wasn't paved, and their garage was exposed. But these only minor nuisances.

We fully enjoyed our visit, and will definitely plan to return! I give this place a definite 9 out of 10!

My man and I needed a change of pace and decided to get away from it all without going too far away. We had no idea how relaxing a beautiful a stay we were in for! Johnson Mill has the most amazing combination of beauty and peace and quiet. The waterfall is gorgeous, the rooms are as scenic as the area around the mill -- and what a breakfast! Bob and Charlene are the best hosts imaginable. We'll be going back as soon as we can!
