“picture perfect location and great lunch presentation!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2010

I enjoyed my stay here. The room was beautiful and location was excellent. The lunch that was served for the workshop was well presented. The breakfast was great too. People were friendly and helpful

The only negative part was having no one at the front desk in the evening, not even anyone to ask, "how do I get online?" I think that should be made part of their room literature or confirmation email when people get their rooms.

Disappointed with the rooms and cost. We went their off season, but charged $190.00 still.
expressed disappointment with room so they upgraded us which was nice. Both rooms needed a major deep cleaning. I think they had sat for quite some time. Linen was old and stunk and their was "stuff "on the bedspread and Pillows..... We had a dog barking below us in the first unit and when we were upgraded, we had the room next door with the alarm going off all night.

The room was perfect. Balconey, Fireplace and a jetted tub. But when we needed service no one was available. We tried calling several times throughout the day to get more pillows for my husband and they never answered the phone. I finally went down to the front desk and it said it closed. Also our thermostat was not working at is was 80 degrees but we couldn't call anyone. So for the romantic part it was nice but if you want to sleep not gonna happen.

Great Romantic getaway. Perfect for anniversary or a reason to be together with your significant other. This is our second time coming to Inn on the Creek. We have loved it both times. The rooms are a little outdated but very clean and comfortable. LOVED the bathrooms with the big jetted tubs and seperate shower. Perfect Place for a romantic weekend. We will stay here again.

Last year, over Valentine's weekend we stayed at the Inn on Creek for the first time. We found the Inn through a website search for B&B and booked the advertised special "romantic getaway". This included a king suite, dinner at the Inn's restaurant (which was fabulous), and breakfast delivered to the room (continental, but nice to have room service). We enjoyed our stay so much that this year we decided to make it a tradition. When we called the Inn to make our reservation we learned that the restaurant was closed. We decided to book a room anyway and make dinner reservations elsewhere. When we arrived at the Inn we were greeted by a teen at the front desk (who didn't even know what a corkscrew was). Needless to say she was nice but clueless and lacked customer service skills. The room was cozy, however the jetted tub was dirty and there was no iron. After asking for a corkscrew that completely baffled the front desk attendant, we decided not to bother her with a request for an iron. And to top it all off, breakfast was served buffet style in the lobby! The killer was the difference in price was approximately $50 less! What a let down!

pros: location

cons: service (couldn't get ahold of anyone for long duration) room ( cracking walls, fireplace did not work, old furnishings, etc) cost ($200.00 for the quality of motel 6)

do not reside here! nothing they boasted about worked, and the service was horrible!

We were going to Soldier Hollow and decided to make it a long weekend to celebrate my husband's birthday. It was gorgeous there & we enjoyed our stay at the Inn on the Creek so much- wish we could have stayed even longer. We may make this a family getaway tradition & would love to see this place in the Spring or Summer too! Loved it!
