I give this review an Above Average rating due to the service and access to ski resorts. The hotel is old and in a commercial/industrial part of town. Despite its age, we found it to be very clean. Our room had a view of the Wasatch Mountain Range but the train tracks were also right outside our window. I recommend requesting a room that's away from the tracks. The upside to the train tracks is the main UTA hub that's directly across the street. From there you can catch a train to downtown SLC or a bus to world class ski resorts (45 min.). There's really no need for a rental car. Airport xfer was $16 for two one way with Express Shuttle. The Best Western Exec. Inn offers discount tickets for bus, ski lift tickets, and rentals at the front desk. This was EXTREMELY CONVENIENT. The continental breakfast was one of the best I've seen in my travels. All you can eat Belgian waffles, fresh fruit, hot cereals, good coffee, no complaints there. The jacuzzi holds about six comfortably and is adequate after a strenuous day of skiing. There are many places within walking distance including restaurants, fast food, and a sporting goods store. Overall, it's not a place I would take my wife for a luxurious vacation, but for the price, was an excellent find for a quick and inexpensive ski trip.
