“Pioneer ingenuity”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2013

Loved our tour through the tabernacle. The guide was very knowledgeable. The feather painting on the wood columns to make them look like marble was amazing. How did they build such a structure in pioneer times without technology. Real skill and workmanship. the basement of the Tabernacle has a family history center/library with people who can help you find your ancestors. who knows? Perhaps one of them helped to build the Tabernacle.

“beautiful”

This historic building is a "Must See". It is located on Main Street and easy to get to with easy parking. The doors are usually opened and visitors are encouraged. Wonderful place to visit.

“Nice Experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2013

The Tabernacle is beautiful. If you enter from the front, be prepared for a very steep staircase - there is a handicapped entrance in the back. One hour free concerts are held at Noon every day during the week in the summer. The day we were there, we were treated to a concert of a very talented string trio - three 14 year olds with impressive resumes for their age - a violin, a cello, and a viola. In turn, they each gave a synopsis of the piece to be played and info on the composer. At the end, the younger sister of the cellist - a talented violinist as well - joined them for the last piece.

“Nice concert in historical setting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2013

We enjoyed part of a concert that they hold at noon on most weekdays. I love historical buildings and this is one of them. We enjoyed the concert, which featured children probably around 12 years in age. Boy, could they play the piano!!! Excellent!

Wonderful art and very many artists displayed their work during the festival. Loved the jazz ensembles and performances on Friday night and Saturday night.
