“Awesome hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2010

LOVED staying here! It's right next to Thanksgiving Point which was so fun. Also, easy freeway access. The staff was SUPER friendly - it must be a great place to work because they were always really happy and helpful and fun.

It was great. I loved the room and how my whole family could be together. The pool was wonderful as well as the work out room. Location is great for all the things in the SLC valley.

The hotel is in a nice location, next to Thanksgiving Point and not right on top of the freeway. It is a brand new hotel, and you are absolutely paying for that fact. The best rate they would give me, the day of, was $109/night. This was hard to swallow as we had recently stayed in a Doubletree in Anaheim for $45/night (Priceline bid) and the Doubletree experience was wonderful. It has become my new favorite hotel and the standard by which I'll judge every other hotel (with the exception of a luxury hotel). That said, Springhill Suites is not Doubletree. The "suite" was fairly small, the beds, pretty good but just above "okay, the bathroom vanity was small, the towels about the same size and thickness as a Motel 6 towel, and I would gladly exchange the breakfast for a better nightly rate. The hotel was fairly empty though and very quiet as we were on the top floor and non-freeway side. It was nice enough, but after scoring such a great deal on Priceline on our last trip, the price just ate me up. You could definitely pay much less in this area, but the hotel wouldn't be as new.

Pros: Clean. Fairly new. Mini-fridge and microwave. Large TV. Decent room size. Nice room layout with desk and sitting area somewhat separated from the bed. Business center was convenient. Breakfast is good: waffles, eggs, sausage, cereal, oatmeal, toast, muffins, yogurt, etc. Staff is very friendly. Adjacent to Thanksgiving Point.

Cons: No Wi-Fi in the rooms (only in the lobby). There is wired high-speed internet access though. Maid service got a little lax by the end of the week, but improved again after a kind phone call to the front desk.

We stayed there for over a week and had a great experience. We also stayed in a couple other hotels in Lehi (bad experiences) and passed by most of the others. This hotel and the Hampton Inn are the only hotels I will consider on my next trip to Lehi.

I stayed here in June 2008 and was able to get a room last minute. The rooms were very large and roomy with plenty of space. I liked that there was a vanity outside of the bathroom. The rooms were very quiet, unlike many other hotels.

stayed at the SpringHill Suites in Lehi as part of a business trip in Sept 08 to the SLC area.

Spent the last 2 days of my trip to the area at this hotel, and was overall quite pleased with it. Brand-spanking new, and sparkling clean, the rooms were really well laid out, furniture and beds were incredibly comfy, and the amenities were good.

Breakfast in the morning was fairly standard fare, but it was fresh and of good quality - no complaints here. The apples and cookies in the lobby at different times of the day were a nice touch as well.

No restaurant, but Thanksgiving Point was right next door, and served excellent food (no alcohol, which shouldn't have surprised me, but sort of did, given how well a glass of wine would have gone with my dinner...*lol*).

Staff were friendly and attentive, really, this was an almost perfect short-stay hotel for a business traveller. Would happily stay here again if I was in the area.

  • Liked — nicely arranged mini-suites, sparkling clean
  • Disliked — no restaurant on site

Stayed at this Mariott property, and from check in to check out
the staff was great. Nice touch the Apples available at front desk.
Room was nice size, and bed was great. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices.
This is a very peaceful area with easy acces to I15, and the Deli at Thanksgiving point served great sandwiches. Cabellas is just a short 5 min. drive for great shopping for clothes and sporting goods. Also try the food court on 2nd floor.
Over all a great place to stop and take a break while on a trip.
