Got a good rate online. Room was clean, although a bit of updating would be nice. The shower was in need of basic reno. But, the bed was good, the room was clean, location is great and staff was excellent.I would stay again without hesitation.

Room Tip: use trip Advisor///always!!!

I was very happily surprised at the quality of this La Quinta, and the excellent service and attitude of the staff. Highly recommend!

Room Tip: The king jacuzzi suites are really nice, and quite spacious.

We came for a week long convention and was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. By the reviews of Trip Advisor I can tell that it was before they refurbished it. It was very clean, staff was awesome giving me directions on places to go and see, drawing maps for me. Breakfast was the same as with any Laquinta. Boiled eggs, waffles, yogurt and the bagels. The rooms are fairly nice size and for $54. per convention rates this is a STEAL!!! I have stayed at other Laquinta's all over the country and when you see a rate like that I am always leary. A pleasant surprise. And for those with dogs they have a nice grassy area.

Restaurants.....OMG they are all over the place from fast food to nice sit down restaurants. Also Target is 2-3 blocks down. You are in the middle of everything. We visited Antilope Island and it was a treasure only 7 miles down the road and then another 1/2 hour the other direction takes you up into the mountains. Loved this location!!!!!! I loved my stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

Yet the only thing that I would have to fault it for is the road traffic. I am a country girl and am not use to hearing traffic. Although a few nights were a little tougher to get to sleep I did get a good nights sleep. I can also assume it was on the side of the hotel I was on also. The wrong side. :)

Room Tip: Ask for the side of the hotel that the check in desk is on.....uneven number room and you should not...

My daughter and I drove in late one evening from the SLC airport, and had a bit of trouble finding a vegetarian meal near by --at 9 pm!, but the inn was clean and comfy, safe for a weary mother & child. We liked the breakfast and the polite staff, and wished we could have tried the pool.

We stayed here at the end of June 2011 and paid $96.90 on AAA rate over internet. We had a double with additional sofa sleeper. The room was clean, beds and linnen were good but some fixtures were a bit dated, as was the pin card door lock system. Ours was tempermental and had to have the clerk change cards for us. He said they were upgrading to magnetic swipe cards soon. The entire hotel looks like a 1980's construction with a fresh coat of paint.

The pool was far too cool as was the hot tub. Both were indoors.

Breakfast was only served till 9am so we didnt get to partake. There were a few restaurants nea by. Red Robin, Olive garden, Famous Daves.

I got what I paid for and nothing more. Staff were great.
