This was an absolutely fantastic restaurant run by an equally impressive owner who clearly takes great pride in taking care of his customers. We enjoyed discussing with the owner, Jai, our mutual experiences living around the world. I've seen few menus with such a varied offering of delicacies, and at such affordable prices. This is the kind of place you can return to and try something different each time. My wife and I were advised by the BandB we stayed at to go there, and we are delighted they made the suggestion. Hats off to Jai and best of luck as this place undoubtedly makes its mark on the Park/Heber City area.

Hard to find, even though it's located in the middle of main street. But find it !!!

The first review is about right. From the outside it looks like an authentic western saloon, but then when you step inside, it does feel a bit like a brothel. Nice warm and comfortable feel (not that I go into that many bordellos). The owner, "Jai" welcomed us, and spent some time talking to us, giving us great information on the area and on things to do. What an amazingly interesting character.
The menu is as interesting as the design of the building. It's THE most eclectic menu I have ever seen. "Jai" describes his food as "International Peasant food" and I love the description and the accuracy. There's something from everywhere. India, Australia, England, France, Germany, Japan, Hungary, Italy... They even had Moroccan spiced lamb shanks, though this was a special.

The service was good, though friendliness leads knowledge here. But I prefer that anyway. We were led towards sharing a kangaroo appetizer, and some Dutch specialty called "bitter-balls". Both were amazing. My husband and I had to share our entrees too, since neither of us had tried Coq au vin before or the Malaysian Pork. Both were divine, and we are going back very soon to work our way through the menu. We didn't have room for dessert, but we will pace ourselves a little better next time. They also have live jazz music on Friday and Saturday nights. If only they had rooms !!!

Chicken Florentine ($17) was the best prepared chicken we have ever had in Utah. She said, “I don’t like risotto, but I like this.” Terrific Prime Rib daily special ($25) and roast duck appetizer,
daily special ($13). Nice wine list and several beers. Try the Rioja ($27), overpriced, but not in Utah. Cool ambiance, like an old west whore house, in an authentic Old West Victorian one time pool hall. The menu features peasant dishes from around the world– Coq au Vin, Toad-in-Hole, goulash, a schnitzel, Indian Vegetarian Platter, etc. Lamb Shank is the Thursday night special, and it rotates through five version including Greek, Moroccan, and New Zealand. Well worth the 20 min. drive from Park City.
