“Best option in Green River”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 20, 2012 via mobile

Stopped after 12 hours in the car. Excellent friendly service and good real food. Homemade fries, burgers and teriyaki chicken. Large portions and fun bar atmosphere.

“Great burger, weird fries”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 14, 2012

Green River doesn't have a lot of eating choices especially when you arrive late on a weeknight. Honestly this was probably the only place open with the exception of Arby's but we figured they would have decent burgers. The burgers were great! Were very happy with them. The fries, I'm pretty sure we got a messed up batch, they didn't taste cooked all the way and did not have a hint of salt. Because the burgers were so filling we didn't worry so much about it though. Waitress, however was kind of abrupt.

“Good Fries and Beer, Average Burger, Cool Tavern in a Small Town”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2012

Green River is like something out of Hollywood movie, the kind of place where the movie "no country for old men" could be set, so it's worth stopping for that reason alone. The two brothers that run the place have owned it for over a decade, they were friendly and shared a few laughs. The long cut fresh home made fries were the best part of the meal, they also had a wide variety of beer and couple of pool tables in the place. Burgers were about 7 out of 10. A good deal at $9 for a burger with a hefty plate of fries. Recommend!

Fairly standard - nothing too special. Dynamite waitress! How did this hot number land up in a place like this?

“Dont blink, your miss a remarkable place.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 28, 2012

If your in Green River UT. i might be that your trying to get back to Colorado, or to Salt Lake City and it started to get dark and Green River actually has a motel or two and there arte none for a hundred miles. I our case two H-D riders who had just riden through a dust storm ahead of a rainstorm in August and we actually had planed to stop in Green River. I asked a desk-clerk where she would eat and always hope for a local place rather than the packaged franchise places. I figure if your visiting you should at least try to see what the people there are like. She said RAY's , we looked at it, nothing special, so what the hell, and went inside. Well there were two kinds there, the locals, and the tourists. 90% are eating burgers, do you need a menu? Hey when in Rome (Rays) do what the locals do. By the time your done you aint no tourist no more, The staff and place is remarkable in making you feel at home. In my picture gallery of our 5000 mile trip I have a picture of Ray's, and I smile everytime i show it to others who will never understand what so special about a burger and a beer in Utah.
