“Beautiful little park”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2013

Squeezed between more famous National Parks, the Kodachrome Basin doesn't get the attention it deserves. The atmosphere is fantastic, as there are no crowds.
We stayed at the Red Stone Cabins (recommended), so we could really "feel" the park.
The area is very well kept and the trails - for what we could see - well marked.

“Nice park- very quiet.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2013

Had a nice 1/2 day here- saw some wildlife (including a whip snake) and had a good walk around. Its very quiet and makes a change from the busy parks such as Zion and Bryce where there are just people everywhere but it is rather small and doesn't have the wow factor that the National Park have!

“Not bad but not great.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

This park seemed like it would have more colorful formations than it actually does, but the hiking is good - nothing too extreme, but there are a few steep dropoffs.

“Spectacular views”

Incredible rock formations. Take the hike to see Shakespeare's Arch. Great vistas. Would have been even better at dawn or dusk
