“Not as advertised”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2013

The pictures of the rooms on their website were much nicer than the actual location, room was pretty small, had plumbing problem that was not addressed, old furniture, front desk staff was unhelpful. I know the cost was comparatively low for this area at this time, but still could have been better. I would think about paying more next time for a better place, even as cheap as I am.

Room Tip: Stay somewhere else.

Booked this place without looking at the reviews - mistake.
Considering how much they charge per night this place is terrible value.
The room was falling apart and I doubt would pass an electrical inspection.
The place is memorable but not in a good way!
The Diner for the hotel also serves as the reception. It stinks of cooking fat.
Bryce as a whole doesnt have much choice for hotels, but unless they refurbish this place I would look at others.

We stayed here on or just after memorial day weekend. Everywhere in the south west of the USA seemed to be booked out. We made a visit to Bryce canyon just after we checked in for a sunset, and again in the morning before we checked out. It was 10 or so minutes down the road. There is nothing particularly memorable about this place. It was clean, neat, quiet and a good price and close enough to the park that we were in the area for. Breakfast wasn't included but it was pretty good and very cheap.

Got a room here even though the outside looked sketchy. The room was clean and safe. The bathroom was VERY nice! (looked like it was just redone). For the price ($50/night) couldn't ask for much more.

We were on a road trip to Bryce Canyon, didn't have a hotel reservation, and were quickly running out of options. Every place we tried was full. We happened across this motel and figured it was worth a try vs sleeping in our car. I have to admit, I was pretty skeptical at first. The place looks a little sketchy, but the room was very clean and comfortable. The price was great and the staff were very friendly. The same people have a restaurant at the same location that had good food for reasonable prices. Other than some highway traffic noise in the morning, the place was pretty quiet. While it may not be as fancy as some of the other hotels by the park and may not have some of the other amenities (no pool, hot tub, gym, etc) , it was a great place to sleep while we were there.

Stayed only one night. Happy about that. A little scarey when you first arrive. Rooms small and furnished with throw away stuff. Shelving home made. In spite of all that it was clean and we survived ok. Luckily the people next door were quiet or it would have been a whole different story. The restaurant actually was quiet good and very modestly priced, so we were happy with that. There are lots better places around Bryce to stay, but this is at least cheaper for the area.

Room Tip: Try for an end room so you don't have someone on both sides of you.
