“Nice Hotel & Great Value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2013

Overall, this hotel was the best we stayed at during our Southern Utah trip. The hotel and rooms were very clean and the whole hotel looks brand new. The room was huge with two queen beds, coffee maker, mini-frig, microwave and plenty of room to spare along with a large bathroom with two sinks making for a very comfortable stay for our family of four. The hotel also has a fitness room, a large outdoor pool (we did not use at it was too cold) and a large, clean laundry room with working appliances what we did use. The included breakfast was good and hardy which is important as it is difficult to get a good meal in the Bryce Canyon area due to its remoteness. The only issue is that this hotel is large so the breakfast area can get crowded and although we did not need to wait on food, we did need to eat in the overflow room one morning. Given the huge clean room, included full breakfast, complementary Wi-Fi and parking and the other superior facilities at a very reasonable price, this hotel ranks as the best value of the hotels we stayed at in Southern Utah.

We were very pleased with our stay at this hotel. Our two rooms were spacious and clean. The breakfast buffet included in the price of the room offered a wide variety of items, both hot and cold. Even though the temperature was in the forties, we were able to swim in the outdoor pool because the water was so warm. The hotel is located less than two miles from the entrance to Bryce Canyon National Park. The only negative is that the quality of the food at the two restaurants across the street was just okay. Check out the restaurants closer to Highway 89 for a better dining experience.

this hotel is a good value,a perfect place to stay when visiting Bryce.only downside is the elevator, note:singular and slow.an additional oddity is having handicap rooms on upper floors.we would stay here again.

On the road again senior couple here: This hotel has an imposing upscale entrance & lobby with 3 check in clerks. The rooms are equal in quality to those at Hampton Inn, but somewhat larger, with a microwave & frig. It had a huge breakfast area, with a big variety of hot & cold breakfast offerings - standard hotel fare in taste. Outdoor pool - lots of parking - across the street from Ruby's Inn - same people own this one. Would definitely stay again.

We arrived during the Federal Government shutdown and as it was quieter than usual we could check in early and reception staff were helpful in suggesting alternatives to Bryce. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious, but I agree with another reviewer's comment that the aircon unit was very noisy, but the room stuffy without it. The in-room fridge was also noisy, we had to turn it off overnight so I could sleep. The hotel lobby was very nice, high ceiling with beams and an fireplace, but this seemed wasted as there was no on-site restaurant. Why linger in the lobby? The dining area was for buffet breakfast only which was mediocre, but adequate. The need for an in-room microwave became apparent after eating at the only restaurant in Bryce 'City' - Ruby's Inn. My recommendation would be to buy a decent microwave meal before heading to Bryce and save the money and disappointment!

Room Tip: Make sure you have a room with a microwave so you don't have to eat at Ruby's Inn.

Stayed 2 nights at is wonderful place . Nice and peaceful that was its best featured views to die for . We had an East facing room which was brilliant. Our room was spotless, spacious and could not be faulted. The breakfast was the best we have had in USA this visit . What more can I say ? Loved it !

Room Tip: We always go for a high floor for the views !

4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2013

Stayed 2 nights in early October during Government shutdown. Accommodation and restaurant choices are very limited in Bryce Canyon City probably either here or Ruby's Inn. We stayed in a King Room and found the room to be of a very good standard with a quiet location on the top floor only saw 1 lift so used the stairs most of the time.

Staff very helpful and we were checked in early. Breakfast buffet was kept topped up and on both days food was hot, arrived at 8:00am both days and no problem with seating immediately although any later may have caused a wait. Plenty of tour groups in evidence.

Just a few minutes from the NP gates and remember to dress warmly as given the altitude it does get cold up here. We had dinner over the road at Ruby's and again get there early (opens at 5:00pm for dinner) or you will have a pretty long wait line. Food was good and reasonably priced.

Recommended for a short stay.

Room Tip: King Room top floor
