“Enjoyable Visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2012

Just returned from a visit to Bryce Canyon, Utah. Stayed at the Best Western Grand Hotel and had a great stay. From check in till check out staff was always courteous and helpful. Our room was clean and we had a small fridge and microwave as well as a coffee maker. A Continental breakfast each morning was part of your room rate, and the breakfast was good. Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes and waffles were some of the staples each morning. The Hot Tub outside by the pool was a pleasure each every afternoon returning from hikes in the Canyon. Wouldn't hesitate to return.

Room Tip: Many rooms have doors to have adjoining rooms, we asked for o ne without.

Across the highway from Ruby's, owned by the same company. New motel with Western flavor to its styling. Entering the Great Room/lobby is breathtaking. Wood beam vaulted ceilings. Huge windows give great views of the area. Incredibly comfy rocking chairs. I have never stayed in a mid level motel where I wanted to just sit in the lobby. They were just putting up the Christmas tree and decorations. Room was very impressive. Comfy beds. Large flat screen TV, with remote holder that let us know that they clean it after every stay. Nice touch. Huge clean bathroom with separate dual granite counter top sinks area. Good water pressure from water-saving shower head. Nice sized refrigerator. We arrived Sunday after Thanksgiving and tourist season just over, so the place was really quiet. Weather couldn't have been nicer. With the huge free breakfast served in a large, airy room, this motel is a real bargain. Not to mention the good coffee. Eat dinner at Ruby's across the highway. We ordered menu items (buffet was shut down for the season) and the food was good. Subway just out of town closed for the season. Otherwise, town of Panguitch was 20 miles away with more restaurants. The staff was terrific, eager to please. We were made to feel welcome. If you are visiting Bryce Canyon or just want a really nice place to stay as a getaway, stay here! You will not be disappointed. We look forward to staying here again.

We stayed at this hotel in November 2012, on the first snow storm of the season. The 3 of us were very pleased to get upgraded upon arrival as the hotel wasn't very full and we asked for 3 seperate beds.
The hotel is brand new, with wooded beam and nice decoration. Rooms are big and convinient and bathroom really spacious.
Buffet Breakfast was of good value for the price (included in the room) and hearty.

Staff helpfull and friendly.
Would highly recommend.

Room Tip: Top floor is definitely convinient. Make sure to request what you wish for and staff will do their b...

Room was comfy, decent beds, and we got up early to go see the sun rise (so I can't comment on noise levels as we were up before others). We came back for breakfast and it was buffet style, with eggs, sausage/bacon/potatoes and then yogurt/cereal/fruit and various muffins. Selection was good, nothing ot complain about.
The only thing was the first room we got one of the beds was not made!!! It looked like they had forgotten to make the room. We had to get another room in the south tower and everything was fine. The water was hot for the shower and the bathroom was nice and clean with shampoo/conditioner and even La Fresh make up remover wipes!!!

Very nice hotel, friendly staff, very clean room, comfortable bed. The free breakfast buffet was very good with more offerings than some others we have had on our trip; probably the best one we have had. Easy access to amazing Bryce Canyon.

We spent a night at this hotel after visiting Bryce Canyon. The location was perfect to see the Bryce Canyon and only 8 minutes driving. The room was very spacious and clean and spacious. The breakfast was awesome with variety of choices. We left early to see sunrise and come back and enjoy our breakfast. The hotel was very close to the visitor center, so my little girls did their junior ranger booklet and drove back to get their badges. At nigjt, we spent some time in front of fire place in the lobby, which was very quite and nice evening. The price was very low compared with the value and everything you can enjoy. I will difinetely visit this hotel again.

Room Tip: Every room has same view. So go to the third floor. Spend some time at the lobby after dinner.

We are currently on an extensive driving holiday (visiting from Australia) and booked our accommodation ahead and we are so pleased that we chose this motel for our visit to Bryce Canyon. Three adults in the party shared a room on the fourth floor. The room was so spacious we were delighted. Beds were comfortable and there was no intrusive noise from hallways or adjoining rooms. Desk staff are young, friendly and helpful. Items for the full breakfast were well maintained and there was no problem with finding a table. The lad who was responsible for our area was constantly on the move ensuring that items were cleared from tables. Our room was immaculate and beds were very comfortable and all linen was clean. Wi-Fi connectivity was excellent.
