If you have the chance: Stay away from this filthy, overpriced place!!! It is better to drive a few miles to look for another accomodation.
The cabin was so awful so we got up at 6am to end this nightmare. Good thing was we could therefore enjoy the sunrise at Bryce Canyon!!!
The cabins look not too bad from the outside but the inside is a mess: Fire detector is hanging from ceiling, rugs are filthy (there is an invention called "Hoover"...), musty air, bugs in the room...
What you see (and what they charge) IS NOT what you get!

This hotel is dirty and way overpriced. It is close to the park but other than that it is dirty and has terrible service. I would never stay here again and would sleep in my car before I stayed here again. Take my advice and stay somewhere else even if it is a bit longer drive to the park. Trust me you do not want to stay here.

This is the most run down and dirty motel we have ever stayed in and we've stayed some pretty cheap motels. The problem with the Bryce Canyon Resort is it 's a very bad cheap motel calling itself a resort, which it is not, and charging resort prices, which are outrageous!

Ruby's and other area hotels were full, so in spite of many bad reviews we booked this hotel based on location relative to Bryce Canyon Park. This was a very bad mistake and we can't emphasize how important it is to just stay away from this joint!

Based on our experience, we cannot understand how other reviewers can rate this hotel higher than "Terrible"?

Overpriced, Dirty, Run-down Motel

This motel advertises pool and spa. There is no spa and the pool is under a tarp enclosure surrounded by broken concrete. Additionally, the rooms smell and the entire outside of the motel complex is dirty with paint peeling from the doors and door frames. Wireless internet is advertised but there is none. In fact, there is no internet at all. On top of this, it is the most expensive hotel in the area. FIND ANOTHER PLACE TO STAY!

We made a trip through 4 states in the Southwest part of the United States in the summer of 2008. We wanted to visit Bryce Canyon and stayed for one night in the Bryce Canyon Resort. You can hardly call this place a resort. Evertyhing is outdated and dirty. The pool is a shame. It is located in a hangar and ther's rust everywhere. Our cabin was large but very smelly. IMy wife had to open the window because of the smell. When it becomes dark, it is cold in this area, so we haven't had a good night sleep. The cabin looked like it wasn't used for some time. Because of this expercience we decided to eat at ruby's , a large and clean hotel not more than 1/2 mile from "the resort". (the restaurant at ruby's is fine; they serve a la carte or you can take the buffet-there's also a very large store and a service station at ruby's) So, i can't tell you how breakfast was at the resort (it wasn't included) because we went to Ruby's. There's a Subay near the resort. The resort is not far from the entrance of Bryce Canyon (so that's a bonus, although Ruby's is even closer) but overall I wouldn't recommand this hotel. it was the dirtiest place I stayed during our three weeks trip.
