For 20 years, I have occasionally visited this memorable restaurant in a small-scale ski lodge near the Solitude and Brighton ski resorts. It is a cozy dining room--log, stone, and glass--with a fireplace and skis and snowshoes on the walls to top off the atmosphere. The deck is especially nice in late spring, summer, and early fall--look for the hummingbirds.
The food is still delicious, with a variety of choices for each meal, but the cost of a typical dinner has increased so significantly during the past two or three years that one is likely to wait for a special occasion before considering a visit.
Still, on those special occasions, I'll be back.
