As you come upon it, Creekhaven Inn looks a bit like hobbit headquarters in the woods, with a narrow lane approaching a rambling, rustic agglomeration of buildings, rooms and parking. Arrayed along the banks of a creek, and only a 10-minute walk from the heart of the small artsy community of Wimberely, the inn's outer surface doesn't signal the comfort and taste within. We stayed in the Tree House Suite, containing a four-poster, a living room with flat-screen TV, and a bathroom with a gigantic jacuzzi in its own windowed alcove as well as a walk-in shower. The room was impeccable, colorful and extremely comfortable. This inn's owners know what they are doing...

“"Best" B & B”

We just returned from what we voted was 2 nites at the best B & B we've ever stayed at. It was the Creekhaven Inn, Wimberley, Texas, in the hill country.
On the drive home we decided the 2 things that put this place at the top of ourlist was (1) the inn...
this place was completely updated a few years ago and they really nailed it. Large rooms with mostly kings (my fave) and beautiful, modern baths (my wife's fave)... all decorated to the nines. Large common areas with great chairs for reading... and (2) the setting... Creekhaven sits at the end of a tiny lane, about 2 blocks from the square and all the shopping, and right on the Cypress Creek. Decks, porches, chairs, hammocks, tree swings.... everything is laid out right on this huge lawn right on the creek... right under all these huge, magnificent cyprees trees. It's truly a sight. The owners were very friendly, very down to earth... available, knowledgeable, but never hovering. So, we give The Creekhaven Inn : "5 Stars"..."Two Thumbs Way Up"...
"A Perfect 10". We loved it. And here's a treat... Wimberley now has 2 top drawer restaurants!

We just got back from a wonderful stay at CreekHaven Inn. It was everything we hoped for. Secluded, peaceful setting, clean room, comfortable bed and just a great home base for exploring the Hill Country. Breakfast was great and the innkeepers are gracious and welcoming. If there was a small loveseat in the room it would be perfect, but that's a small nit in comparison to the overall ambience of this wonderful B&B. I'm sure we'll be back again.

First of all, I had high expectations when I booked our weekend based on all I had read. Good news - it lived up to my expectations. The property is truly exquisite with its creek frontage (including little waterfalls/rapids), multiple decks, numerous trees, and a beautiful house. I knew we had found just the right place for our wedding. We stayed in the Water Lily - a two room suite that is a must for a romantic retreat, with a bed you'll never want to leave and a wall of windows to help you feel surrounded by the trees. The Friday evening wine and cheese reception gave us a great chance to enjoy the views and get to know the owners, who saw to it that all our needs were met. Breakfast was also quite enjoyable, as we took our plates out onto our private deck to enoy the good food! Our wedding was under the trees, beside the creek, but there were so many locations to hold a small ceremony that it was hard to choose. We're planning to come back often, to remember our special day! Thank you Bill and Pat!
