“Not so real Thai food”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2012

Had lunch and noticed that the food was not genuine Thai taste. The curry and tom yam soup were much too sweet though I had told the waitress to tell the cook to go easy on the sugar. When the owner was told that the food tasted much sweeter than expected, she replied, "that's how we do it here." Well, now I know that's not where I will be looking for authentic Thai food.

“Once great food, not so anymore”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 4, 2012

I used to come here (Watauga location) at least three times a month, but stopped recently because they have changed their authentic Thai hot dishes. They used to use Asian chilies in their fish sauce but have switched to using the vein of a jalapeno in it instead. Although the jalapeno is very spicy, it does not affect the pallate in the same way, and changes the flavor of the food. So when you order anything "authentic Thai" you are no longer getting the true flavor of the once great Asian dishes served there. You still get plenty of spice, but on different parts of the mouth, lips and pallate. It seems that I am not the only one to notice, as the past two times I have been there, we were the only ones there.
i also took notice of the layer of dust that has accumulated on the horizontal surfaces of all their framed photos on the walls. You don't need to look hard to see it. Seems that if there are so few customers, they would have time to clean up the grime.
It makes me wonder how the kitchen looks...

I'll take my wallet elsewhere thank you.

“Fort Worth location--great ambiance & tasty, tasty food!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2011

Adding this for anyone who's considering their downtown Fort Worth location: free valet parking, as it's under the Embassy Suites, caddy corner SW from Bass Hall, at 600 Commerce Street. Sauces are great, spring rolls have lovely mint addition that floats my boat. Have been here many times, as well as taken out-of-town guests here, and all have been impressed as well as delighted with their yummy, freshly made food from Tina's wondrous hands!

“Beautiful atmosphere, food was salty”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 19, 2011

This restaurant is now located at the Embassy Suites in downtown Fort Worth. I dined here on a recent business trip while staying at the hotel. They even had a special -- free appetizer with any entree if you are staying at the hotel. The spring rolls were very good, but the pad thai I ordered as a meal was very salty and the sauce didn't taste authentic. I always order pad thai and I usually can't go wrong with it. I only ate a couple of bites and was done. My total bill was only $10, so the value was good and it may have been a bad batch of food, but I won't eat here next time I'm in town.
