“Who Knew this was there?”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2013

We stumbled upon the Library while we were doing a new-student tour of Baylor University. The building and it's grounds are absolutely stunning. We didn't have much time, as we were trying to make a meeting. However, the 15 minutes we took to check out the architecture and stained glass windows was well worth it. We were told it's the largest secular collection of stained glass windows in the world (I hope I have that correct.) They are beautiful. I wouldn't go out of my way to see it...but if you are on campus it is a hidden gem. And, anyone who is a Elizabeth Barrett Browning fan would really enjoy it.

“Beauty inside and outside this Baylor landmark”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 5, 2013

This is probably one of the most beautiful places in Waco. Baylor University sponsors concerts and events here throughout the year. The art work both inside and outside the building are exceptional quality-well worth a visit just to see the sculptures outside and the use of marble, brass, and wood inside. To the side of the building is a lovely, new area with outdoor seating under huge shade trees. The entire grounds are beautifully landscaped just like the rest of the Baylor campus. I usually visit several times every year. I'm always impressed by the beauty inside and outside the museum/library.

“A Little Known Treasure”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 30, 2013

Everyone should visit the Armstrong Browning Library. It has the largest collection of memorabilia belonging to Elizabeth Barrett and Robert Browning, as well as the largest collection of secular stained glass windows in the world! The building itself is lovely, the interior is magnificent, and the collections are extraordinary.

“Awesome place to visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

I love British Literature and Baylor University has the largest collection of the works of Robert and Elizabeth Barrett Browning in the world. Absolutely a beautiful building, architecture to host and display the original writings of the poets, as well as many personal artifacts of theirs. I could visit here more than annually. Stunning.

“Little Surprise in Waco”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2013

This is a must see if you're in Waco for even a short time. It's free and not far out of your way even if you're passing through. The stained glass is truly amazing!
