This hotel is going to be fabulous once they finish the renovation, however, it was not fabulous to have had to stay there during this time! Two families, with 8 children between us and the indoor pool/hot tub was on everyone's mind - but we find that it is completely closed down. WOW - please, Orchid hotel, you REALLY need to put renovation statuses on your website. For $125 per night, per room, this would have been good information to have. Machines running everywhere, carpet being installed, tile work being done - it was not a great experience. I do have to say, the staff there is wonderful! They were so helpful with extra blankets, pillows, etc. and made sure to keep breakfast refilled for us. Very nice staff.

Thank you for taking the time to comment about our hotel. We always want our guests to have the best experience possible. Since you came in during the carpet install, you just caught the tail end of the work. I am so sorry that you and your family were inconvenienced but I am excited to tell you that it is done and the hotel is so beautiful. We had a professional photographer in yesterday so new pictures will be up soon. I can't wait for you to come back. You are going to say WOW!.
