“The Best B&B Ever”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 23, 2012

I've never been a big fan of B&Bs, but The Cotton Palace is absolutely outstanding. The rooms are fabulous, the innkeepers are so accommdating they make you feel like family, and the breakfasts are to "die" for. We are already working on a return visit - and it takes us at least 10 hours to get there. Mary Ann

So glad you are planning a return visit! Three days is not enough time to see all that Waco and the surrounding area have to offer. We are so fortunate to have the "best" guests at The Cotton Palace - they do become part of our family.

I and 3 friends visited the Cotton Palace for a 3 day visit. The accomadations were absolutely excellent. The food was wonderful. The innkeepers were so accomadating, helped us to find wonderful restaurants, sight seeing destinations and were delightful hosts. I can't wait to return.

Room Tip: I stayed in Matt's attic. Two twin beds seperated by a bookshelf between the heads of the beds...

We loved hosting the Kansas ladies for your trip to watch the Baylor/Kansas basketball game (even though our beloved Bears lost the game!). We were so happy that you filled your 3 days exploring and enjoying all that Waco has to offer. Hope to see you back in Waco!

We stopped at Cotton Palace on our way from Memphis to New Braunfels, TX for the holidays. Didn't know anything about it, but it seemed like a nice place. It was the best Christmas present I could have asked for! Beautifully decorated for the holidays, warm and inviting atmosphere. The very best room we could have imagined. And the owners are the very best. We also ate dinner in Waco at the Diamondback Restaurant and it was great too! We will definitely go back to Waco, just to stay at the Cotton Palace again!

Room Tip: We stayed in Erin's suite, which had an extra room/suite between the main room and the bath. It...

I was attending a conference at Baylor University, which left my mind full at the end of each day's presentations. The Cotton Palace offered creature comforts and good conversation that helped me to process the day's learning and prepare for the next.

We had a wonderful stay at The Cotton Palace. Our bed was very comfortable, the sheets and towels were very high quality. It was quiet and we had a wonderful night's sleep, after a nice soak in our jacuzzi tub. Our room and bathroom were immaculately clean, and there were cold water bottles, ice, and wonderful cookies available to us. We even had our choice of coffees, teas, and flavored creams.

The Cotton Palace is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, and we were able to have a very enjoyable visit with Dutch, former baseball coach at Baylor University and owner of the inn during breakfast. Our visit with Dutch was icing on the cake.

I highly recommend The Cotton Palace.

Room Tip: We stayed in "Amanda", which has a very large bathroom, large jacuzzi tub, and large showe...

We had the sincere pleasure of staying at the Cotton Palace for the first time in September. Originally, we had planned to just spend the weekend, but we ended up staying for a week. Our daughter, who is a student at Baylor, broke her leg and required surgery. She was able to recover at the Cotton Palace instead of her dorm, and the stay couldn't have been better! Becky, Dutch and Matt went over and above to make sure we were comfortable and cared for at all times. We felt like we were part of the family. The house is by far the nicest B&B we have ever visited. Coupled with the amazing food, this is a place you don't want to miss! If you find yourself in the heart of Texas, cheering on those Baylor Bears, be sure you plan to stay at the Cotton Palace. You won't be sorry!

We stayed here for Baylor Parents Weekend Sept 2011 and had a delightful stay. We were welcomed graciously. The rooms were warmly decorated and We had a clean, spacious bathroom with amenities. There were homemade cookies and coffee/tea outside our room 24/7. Save room for one of the most delicious breakfasts you will ever have and great conversation with Dutch and the other guests. So glad we found this place.

Room Tip: Call Becky to discuss your room needs. Each room is unique and has different delightful features.
