“Best zoo for a small town”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2012

Clean. Exhibits make it easy to view animals. It's a beautifully landscaped zoo also. More like a garden.

“Caldwell Zoo”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2012

I chose this as a place to go for my birthday. I had heard this was a great zoo but I was still impressed. It was beyond my hopes. The animals are not locked up in small cages. Most have open spaces and plenty of room to move around. The park itself is very beautiful. Be prepared to do a lot of walking. It could be difficult walking for some. Lots of trees and paved walkways. This would be a beautiful spot even without all of the fantastic animals.

“Wonderful family fun!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2012

Caldwell Zoo is a beautifully landscaped, well cared for zoo with wonderful walking paths and great animal exhibits. A lovely morning or afternoon outing for people of all ages. Do note that the uphill pathways may be difficult for those with physical limitations.

“Field Trip!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

I have always gone several times a year except for the last due to illness. My children grew up visiting just about every week or so. When they were old enough to go to school, I returned to teaching elementary school which afforded me the opportunity to go each year with another group of students. Great place to spend the day with your kids or for a date!
