This hotel is dirty and inconvienent. They claim it has been recently remodeled, but I do not see how it could have been. My husband was taking a group of college students to a conference in Tyler. He could have gotten other hotels that would have even been much cheaper, but he thought he would splurge and let them stay someplace nice for just over $100 a night. This hotel was FAR from being a nice place to stay. I told the front desk the curtain in my room (of all young girls and a baby) was not hung. They said they would send someone to fix it. After waiting for four hours I finally gave up. They never did come to fix it. When I mentioned it at check-out they didn't even act like they cared. When I had asked if we could move to another room, they said they thought they were full. There were pieces of carpet from rooms laying out in the parking lot, I assume to dry. The chair was also filthy dirty and falling apart. Sorry I did not get any photos of it. The bathroom was OK and it did have a somewhat nice shower. You park on one side of the hotel and have to carry your stuff all the way around to the other side. My advise would be to find someplace else to stay if you can.

This ''Hotel'' had more cock roaches than guests, and after a brief 1 night stay at this poor excuse for a 1 star dump, I quickly learned why.

First Impression:
The staff at this hotel was less inviting than the smell from the dumpster that was obviously placed for their convenience only, less than 20 feet from the front entrance. And after walking through the front entrance and into the lobby I concluded that the dumpster would've been a cleaner, more applealing location for their front doors.
After getting haggled by the front desk agent over a room rate that had already been confirmed during the reservation process, I took my key and ventured off on my own, hoping to enter my room and relax. This hotel does have a standard fitness room for you to excercise in, but after the maze of steps and stair cases you must go up and down on to get back and forth from your room, you will no longer need it. If anything, the excercise room should be a rest area.
My Room:
Stained sheets with many holes, sheets did not fit the bed, the comforter smelled like an oil field, coffee pot was badly stained and the room smelled like smoke. Ear wax on the phone receiver, I could go on and on. I called the front desk agent to give him an opportunity to correct the situation but he could not have cared less. Apparently, he had more important guests to disappoint.
Bottom Line: Access from your car to your room is a nightmare so be prepared to rest when you get to your filthy room.
The rooms are moldy, smelly, disgusting and barely operational
The staff doesnt care, neither should you.
The best thing about this hotel was its reflection in my rearview.

Well lets see, i was in town for a fishing tournament and a friend told me about the ramada inn cause they had good parking for my boat. Lets just say thats all they had. The room was filthy. i'm not sure if it was cleaned either night i stayed. the furtinure in looked like it had been through flood damage and to top it off there was trash in my coffe marker! The only thing that made me stay was how helpful the front desk staff was with everything, espically the over night person. He was very patient listening to me complain at 3am, even though the problems were not his fault. Overall not a terrible stay and the price was fair but they deffentily need to get some new house keepers

First, the good about the hotel:
Free WiFi, water pressure and the shower head, front desk staff friendly and helpful.

Second, the okay stuff:
The room felt cramped and more than a little worse for wear - panel in front of sink broken, lining under seat of easy chair torn and hanging down, scrapes on the furniture, burn marks on the carpet. The hotel was also hard to find with inadequate signage for people unfamiliar with the area.

Third, the not so good stuff:
The room could have been cleaner and the sunflower seeds removed from the heater/ac unit.

And, why we won't go back -
The beds were horrible. One bed was squishy and was laid on top of a broken frame which was perched atop a wood platform, the sheet did not fit and it and the pad under it kept coming away from the edges, leaving the bare mattress exposed. The other bed was hard as rock with metal frame pieces extending more than an inch beyond the mattress edges - again the mattress and frame were on top of a wood platform.

  • Disliked — The beds were horrible

Hi we stayed at this hotel and i was looking for the reviews of this hotel and i asked the staff why they are so bad. So the staff told me that all of the reviews were before the hotel had received new management. Now the hotel has got new owners and it is the best hotel ever!!!! All of my friends and family stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks and it was the best experience we ever had in our lives!!! We all loved this hotel and would definitely reccomend this hotel to anyone who is looking for an enviroment with friendly people and nice staff members. I think all people should definitley stay at this hotel. I also heard that the new management is goin to have new beds, grass, and like make this place the best it could possibly be. . So i definitely say come here if your ever looking for a place to saty in Tyler.
