This resort is great for conference and meetings. It provides you with the option to charge everything under one tap...Meals at their restaurant, etc. Have plenty of meeting rooms.
I went over there for a convention from my company. I noticed that there were about 10 other companies doing the same. You dont need a car to get around there since they provide shuttle services to-from airport. It has two areas of hotel rooms (which are like staying in villas). I stayed in the area close to the conference center and our rooms were kind of old (from 1980's). The other hotel section is more dated and nicer and has a beautiful pool with slides.
Have two beautiful golf courses at a very reasonable price.

“$10 internet on top of a $200 room”

I had to stay here for business and was willing to put up with a musty smelling room because I got in late but when I found out that they wanted $9.95 extra per night for an internet connection (when they bill themselves as a conference center) I complained. They refused to budge on the internet so I made them move me to a room that didn't smell. They put me in a newer section of the property and it was average. Still never got my internet connection.

I agree with an earlier post that I could have stayed at a Comfort Inn and gotten more amenities. The food was good but overpriced - lunch buffet was about $21.

“Nice hotel”

The Woodlands Resort & Conference Center

Feb 8, 2008

I had an off site business meeting and got to stay here for one night. Since it was for business, I didn't get to use any of their facilties except the meeting room & restaurant. The food was great. The hotel room is very clean and comfortable. The front desk is very attentive, very friendly people. The only complain would be I asked for extra shampoa & conditioner and they bought me lotions. Other than that, a pretty nice place to stay.

This hotel is incredible. My family and I arrived like 10:00 p.m. and they still have our rooms, and they were fantastic, a little old, but good and cheap, but very cheap, I found a rate of 170 dollars per night in a Fairways Pines deluxe room at www.simple2go.com/kripton.
One of the best things that I like it, it was the concept, but it was winter so my children can´t use the simming pool.
Their restaurants are magnific, also their concierge. They have a little bus that take you inside the resort, and each hour it takes you to the mall.
At all the things I saw is very good, but a little old, but with many better things. Stay at this hotel

Stayed here for 4 days for business. This is a beautiful area of Texas, but I think the price was a bit high, even though it was company paid.

Bed was absolutely wonderful. Fluffy new pillows, down comforter and soft but not limp mattress. Good water pressure in shower and was hot pretty much instantly. Bad reception on a lot of channels on TV, but didn't have too much TV time.

The food at the resort was top notch and the reception and staff were very attentive. However, the day before my last day, I left my wedding ring in the bathroom near all the toiletries. When I came back that evening, I didn't see it, but decided to look for it the next day. Still no luck. Called front desk and was transferred to security and left a message. No call back, so called them about about six hours later (after I had checked out). Gave them the information again and they checked with housekeeping. No word on ring, and was giving the obligatory (we're not responsible....blah...blah). They told me to file a report with the Sheriff. Very dissappointing. I guess I should have put it in the safe (don't remember if there was one, but could have been), but I guess I felt too comfortable with the surroundings and let me guard down.

BTW, I was in the Forest Pines area and the pool looked great for kids. I wouldn't recommend the other side as I have stayed there also, and it is getting really old.

So a bit pricey and good service, but lock up your valuables.
