“Great tasting pizza”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2012

Usually we just call ahead and order pizza and pick it up! Our favorite is the Margherita pizza. However, last month we had a chance to eat there and like other reviewers we found the service to be a little inattentive - anything we wanted or needed we had to ask for: "More water please" or "don't you offer bread while waiting on our meal?" It was a Friday night and they had a gentleman playing the keyboard with songs from Chariots of Fire... I think we'll continue order out, we get to enjoy the great pizza at home!

“Good Enviornment”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2012

Nice service and delicious food. My family loves the place and I really think is one of the best pizzas in town.
The live music on thursday night is really good. We usually us their delivery service but when we visit the place we always have a good time and we end completely full.

“Good pizza. Mediocre service”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2012

Russo's is a good choice for New York style pizza. Unfortunately service at the restaurant is only fair at best. It seems at times that the staff feel their customers are an impediment to their getting their job done. As a result customer service is not a highlight of the dining experience. poor service compromises the experience.

“Terrible”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2012

Slow, rude, and uninterested service. The Greek salad was horrible and the dressing lacked flavor. Not to mention that when it was brought to the table I asked the server, as she was walking away, if I could please have some silverware and she told me "no, eat it with your hands". She actually did bring us silverware..... in napkins we thought were filthy until we realized they had dryer lint all over them not dried food. The sauce tastes like it comes straight out of a jar and our calzones had very little flavor. We decided to order dessert to go, after having stared all night at the dessert table which is prominently displayed, and were disappointed by soggy cake. They didn't even get the bill right as I was given someone else's ticket. TERRIBLE! I will NOT be going back!! Oh, and the kitchen continually dropped things making the already loud atmosphere extremely unpleasant.

“They must be going for the notorious NYC reputation for bad service”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed November 14, 2011

We've ordered multiple times both by phone & online... it's to to be a statistically outlier but literally every time - to the point that IF we dare try it, it's almost morbid curiosity if they'll screw it up again... and they are consistent. Once they did not deliver at all and the babysitter was at home with hungry kids waiting on pizza and to date no order has been delivered in full yet - something is always missing... either salad, dressing, bread, cheese sticks, entree, pizza... the quality isn't bad just service blows, so I guess that's the true NY feeling they're going for?
