We broke down and spent three days here waiting for our vehicle to be repaired. The beds were perfect and the pillows offered a variety of comfort levels. There were some blemishes on the mix and match furnishings. Soft towels, great shower head with good pressure and hot water to spare. The AC was good and cold, but the dial was broken, so we set it on low and were fine. The outlet for the microwave had issues and the coffee maker did not work. I reported this but nothing was ever done. On the second day they began gutting the third floor rooms (where we stayed) so we were exposed to paint and chemical odors and forced to navigate through the maze of furniture lining the hallway. At least they are keeping the place up. Breakfast was the usual egg product and processed meat. We came down 15 minutes before breakfast was officially over to find nothing restocked and pickins pretty slim. Not much personality from the staff. The work out facility was dirty and disgusting and equipment didn't work. The indoor pool reeked of chlorine, making that part of the hotel very undesirable. The best thing I can say (other than the bed) was the flat screen TV was top quality, which made watching the Olympics a real joy (as this was our primary form of entertainment the three days we were unexpectedly forced to stay in Texarkana). All the usual LogoLand restaurants are close by, some within walking distance.
