Very educational with close up views of rehabbing turtles. A must for all when you go to South Padre.

“Really Awesome Rescue and education center”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2013

Open to the air but under a large roof this sea turtle rescue, rehab, and education center is really cool. They have a live feed from their website that you can look at the turtles in real time. That will give you a good idea of what's inside. But the tanks and the facility is fantastic. The sea turtles will steal your heart, it's so encouraging to see people really care for these fantastic reptiles who have been hurt.I definitely encourage you to visit and donate to this worth while cause.

“Sea Turtle exhibit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2013

Family loved the exhibit, especially the lettuce eating turtle. Looking forward to visiting again. Appreciated the staff that took the time to talk to us about their rehabilitation work with the turtles.

“Good for the kids”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2013 via mobile

We got there when they opened at 10am. For what seemed like the first half hour or so, it was a sales pitch trying to get everyone to buy their membership. Nothing wrong with that, just odd timing we thought. They do good things though and I'm glad they do what the do and the girls loved the turtles.

“Don't Miss the Treasure!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2013

We visited Sea Turtle Inc on the recommendation of friends that have visited before. It's small and unassuming from the road but inside are magical tanks with turtles so close they can and do sometimes splash you. The work being done at the center is incredible We learned a lot in a very short time. And the gift shop had a lot of unique offerings to choose from. Also, get up in the morning and attend a public release if possible. Watching baby turtles just an hour or so old begin their life journey into the sea is truly a very special experience. Thanks to Sea Turtle Inc. for their work and inspiring my daughter and I to learn more about these magical creatures!
