After reading mixed reviews on this place, we decided to go check it out for ourselves. The service was ok, but not overly friendly. We felt a little uncomfortable, as she seemed "put upon" because we arrived without a reservation. The place wasn't even half full. We ordered the paella (specialty of the house), cioppino, and a vegetable puttanesca. The paella was not good at all. Dried out bland rice?! We left most of it.The cioppino had way too much fennel and lacked depth. The puttanesca was pretty good. Definitely the most flavorful dish we had. We satisfied our curiosity about this place...and won't be going back.
