“Good find”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2014

We enjoyed our meal at Gabriella's. It was in the top 5, but towards the bottom, of our meals. The service was great and the atmosphere was old school fun. I wish the pizza had been cooked to be warm enough all the way through.

“Good Delivery”

Wonderful pizza. We had it delivered the first night we arrived on the island. It was very good and would eat it again.

“Worth Waiting For”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2014

We were given a 30-45 minute wait time when we arrived, to be spent in a small upstairs area where we were told we could order drinks and an appetizer. There was one staff in that area, and she did not note our arrival for 15 minutes and never offered a menu for appetizers. She did ask if we wanted anything to drink, but we declined. Once seated, I ordered a house red wine that was average, a Cavitt. I had to go to the kitchen to ask for silverware and napkins as our server did not provide them and did not come back after leaving our salad, when we noticed we did not have them. I did not manage to catch the attention of any passing server so I walked to the kitchen and asked for two sets. We had a pizza with salad. Both of us felt the pizza was one of the best we have eaten, freshly prepared. My half was Pizza Marguerite and his half was the Sicilian. We were unable to finish the food brought before us that evening. This is the only place on South Padre that we considered re-visiting before we left from this trip.

“Had to go back a second time”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2014

Yum yum yum. The pizza was so good that we got it to go on our second night in SPI. The candles also offered some entertainment while waiting for food

“Was very disappointing.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2014

Wanted to have family meal while on vacation and this was recommeded to us. What a disappointment. They don't take reservations and we waited over hour to be seated and then were seated in the back by a bachelorette party that was very obnoxious, drunk and loud. Very annoying we couldn't even have a conversation with each other. Our service was not good at all, food came at various time, the pizza was undercooked and then we waited forever for drinks and then check. Waitress was not very competent and then stuck the gratituty on the smallest check because she didn't know where to put it. Could of asked, then she added items to ticket that were not ordered. It was cold in there and warmer outside. Very overprice and expensive for what we were treated too. Couldn't wait to get out of there and it seemed forever. Have had a lot better pizza and food at lot of smaller scale restaurants. Would not recommend this to anyone. Was not overly friendly either!
