“Good times”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2014

The food was really good, the service was quick. The staff was friendly and knowledgable about Island events. They are "pet friendly", allowing us to have our canine family member with us on the patio. The parrots they have on the patio are beautiful to look at and the kids try to get them to talk (the do talk quite loudly). All in all a great value for lunch or dinner. We had several meals there.

“Disappointing lunch”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 21, 2014

We had visited Parrot Eyes for breakfast on our visit 4 years ago and recalled a very enjoyable experience. We decide to visit for lunch this time. We were sadly disappointed. Service was a little off, wait staff seemed very disorganized, orders were mixed up and when correct orders were brought out they tasted "so-so". We expected a lot more out of this place.

“Lunch on the bayside”

Great place and right price for family lunch. Quick service and good food. The kids wanted to eat there again. Sit on the patio, enjoy the breeze and the view. Recommend the blackened fish tacos with Spanish rice.

“Zero accountability.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2014

Drove past their location and noticed their sign advertised a cajun boil that night and immediatly got excited. I looked up their number and called in to get the details, but alas no answer. Figured it would all be good, sold the entire fam on going there for dinner. Got to the table only to be told there was no boil afterall because "their chef was at a fishing tournament". This despite the paper ads, and the sign outside. Just downright poor business, and poor excuse.

We decided to stay and eat anyways but things didnt get better. To add insult to injury, we ordered fried fish which was great but they goofed. They served us the freshly caught red snapper the table next to us had brought in for themselves. Then they had the audacity to tell the other table that "we ate their snapper". Like it was somehow our fault. The table next to us was understandably quite upset, and it just wrecked the night for everyone.

Never. Ever. going back.
