“Don't bother dining here”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed January 9, 2014 via mobile

We live in the neighborhood and had hopes for tbis bistro. HOWEVER ; this is a place run by people who have no experience in the food industry. One of our friends sit in a nearly empty dining room and didn't get their salad for 45 min, another group got wrong drinks & wrong food and when complained their waiter called another waiter over and yelled -"do you believe they're cpmplaining abt service" . Finally at Christmas we stopped in for a drink. We were rudely told that the Bistro is closed for a Christmas party and walked away. Anyone going to the Bistro

“New international menu”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2013

The new owners are from Venezuela ...

I had the world's largest shrimp cocktail and my friend had a brie and apple salad ... both were very good ... according to the bartender, there are about 30 dif beers on their drink menu and the wine list has been changed a little with the addition of some south american vinos ... the food menu has been revamped ... I'll definitely go back to sample some of the new dishes ...

“Fabulous fish”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 7, 2013 via mobile

Was treated here by a colleague. The place doesn't look impressive from the outside but the cook knows his business and the servers know their menu. Our waiter, Jay, was outstanding and guided us to good choices. We had the grouper and the salmon - both were memorable taste treats. I will be coming back to this restaurant!

“More eats”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2013

Nice quaint place. Quiet, food excellent. Servers attentive. Whether you choose steak or seafood, you won't be disappointed. And be sure to save room for the dessert selection.

“Disappointing entrees”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2013

I really enjoyed previous visits to this restaurant, but tonight was bad. Menu was different than the one posted on their web site, which resulted in far fewer vegetarian options for one of the guests in our party. This restaurant used to have several tasty veggie options. Nevertheless, the menu still looked pretty good, but my ahi tuna was ridiculously salty- really awful. The fillet mignon tip dish looked unappetizing and partner was not happy with taste. Eggplant parm was meh- not terrible, but no real flavor either. Spinach pear salad, bread, and desserts (choc mousse and creme brûlée) were good! Wine list was respectable. Might try one more time before crossing off my list.
