“Tex-Mex At It's Best”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 15, 2012

I have frequented this restaurant for the last four years. Although management may have changed, the food and service have remained great! We have celebrated birthdays, going away parties, and a quick bite to eat in a very relaxing Mexican, theme decorated restaurant. There is a great statue when you enter the restaurant to greet you, interesting tile work, and dolls grace the walls.
Try the Rosa Dip for an appetizer, it's fantastic! I love the enchildas verdes, they have a great combination sauce of Avocados and jack cheese. So, the next time that you are driving on 35N and have a craving for Tex-Mex, stop in for a quick bite. You will be glad that you did!
Oh by the way, they have added an outdoor area that I have yet to experience. Another reason to go back!

“An excellent place for Tex-Mex without a long wait!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 4, 2012 via mobile

We ate lunch here and did not wait, I bump into people, and did not have to holler across the table to talk. I had a plate called Border Melt that was excellent. The steak was tender and tasty. The chips and salsa are fresh and we tried the queso which was very good. The service was quick, friendly, and very efficient. Give this place a try.

“Beautiful outdoor dining area”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2012

Loved eating outside near the fountain in the lush back yard. We were the only ones out there! Service was quick and friendly. Chile relleno was huge. Churro beans were a good choice. Reasonable prices.

“Abysmal service...”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2012

Imagine walking in to an near empty restaurant that holds 100 people and the hostess tells you "Bar table ok?" you tell them fine, but wonder why when there's almost no one in the restaurant.

The hostess takes you past a dozen empty tables and seats you as close as possible to the bar toilet. The waitress comes up and asks for your drinks and you ask what do you have and the response is "Um, margaritas and beers 'n' stuff." you ask for a minute to decide if you want a margarita, beer, or possibly stuff; perhaps even contemplate if you want to actually help pay the wages of staff this rude.

Another waiter rolls past and literally throws a basket of tortilla chips on the table. We left.

Save your time, and do as we did and go to to Chuy's down the road, which is apparently the local choice as well since they had a line out the door.

My only regret in this review is that I can't give 0 points.
