“Gino's---Real Italian”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2006

I live in Round Rock and have tried all of the Italian restaurants in the area. None can touch Gino's. Gino's puts all the so-called Italian chain restaurants to shame. If you want real Italian food, get it at a restaurant owned and operated by East Coast Italians. This food tastes like the real deal because it is. It's not "americanized" to death. Gino's Pizza is fantastic, and it has runied me---I can't eat pizza from other restaurants. The veal or chicken alla panna is wonderful, as are most of the traditional Italian pasta dishes. Take it from me, a New York Irishman: If you want great Italian food at a restaurant where you won't need earplugs and where the waitstaff will do anything to accommodate you, try Gino's. It's one of Round Rock's best kept secrets.

“Not like Carrinos”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2005

We were told that Ginos was a hometown (local) Carrinos. Not true. The menu options were fine. When you walk in the restaturant it is setup like a pizzeria with a counter and large pizza oven. The food (pasta) was a little too much grease and prices a little high for quantity and quality but overall the dining experience was very cozy. Service was great which still makes you want to support the local business-owner.
