“Great home cooked meal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 7, 2013

Tons of excellent choices of home cooked food. We had the veggie plate this time. On a driving trip this past summer, we stopped at many Cracker Barrel locations throughout Tennessee.

“More that it's on the interstates to have breakfast”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 26, 2013

The gift shop seems to have conquered the people more than their food. Service is ok....not as clean as I would like it to be for my breakfast but what do you want from a place called Cracker Barrel? As a child I use to have breakfast at the original one on our way from Nevada to Kentucky to visit Grandparents. Far cry from what we get today...food will never be the same as the original but you do have more gifts to look at.

“Family Restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2012

Cracker Barrel restaurant serves southern home style food. I usually have their vegetable platter.
But any selection you choose will be good. They offer excellent cobblers and pies too. We always eat at this restaurant when traveling. While your waiting to be seated you can shop in their store. I recommend this restaurant.

“Great Home Cooking without having to cook!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 19, 2012

The portions are large, the food is fresh and delicious. Do not hesitate to go to a Cracker Barrel restaurant near you when you are ready for some good home Southern home cooking.

“Rough”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 1, 2012

I don't know of any other place in the area of Round Rock where the restaurant atmosphere is the only thing good about it.

The price of food is starting to become at a level that you would expect somewhere like Miami or Los Angeles or New York. And the taste of the food isn't as great either.

Waiting staff is commonly friendly. But that's only if they are paying attention.

Their biggest draw is actually their country store in which they sell goods and products from here in the United States. But in order to reach the restaurant, you have to go through their country store, which is a distraction. And of course, go through it again on the way out.

Big trap there.

I wouldn't suggest it unless you are just trying to enjoy an afternoon or evening away from home.
