“Good little bbq joint”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2013

You need to go to this place.
Great experience.
Out of the way but worth it.
Had a combo plate that was great.
Sides were less than expected.

“Yummy!”

Great food, service, and atmosphere. The food just kept coming and they were able to take care of our big group. The staff was friendly and attentive.

“BEST PECAN PIE EVER”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2013

This place is sooo much fun, for young and old....there was live music the day we went, and it was so cool. The kids section was pretty too with a fun park for them to play. You can byob! the meats Of course are superb, but their pecan pie, OMG, the dough was so perfect, the filling was incredible, and if i wouldve known, probably, i wouldve skipped the meat, and just done the pecan pie. Oddly enough, their cobbler was pretty bad, sorry, but it tasted very artificial. Stick to the pecan pie. The staff is overly nice and its pretty clean. The menu is very limited, but everything is really yummy. But whatever you do, dont miss the pecan pie.

“Never again”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2013

Stayed in Austin for a conference last week and decided to see what all the fuss was about. Drove to Roundrock and got a little lost but made it to the restaurant 5 minutes after 9. We were to told by a very rude host that the place was closed while we salivated over the bbq cooking over the open pit as we walked in the front door. I'll never visit this place again. He would not even allow a take out order!! JERK.

“"You can smell the pits but they taste even better."”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2013 via mobile

Beans, potato salad, and coleslaw are not your traditional recipes so if you are a purist, you may be upset with the sides. Bread is from Stroehmann's and is not homemade. There are two BBQ sauces to try - regular and spicy. Definitely try these on your bread as well as your BBQ. If you love meat, go for the all you can eat plate. It truly is all you can eat including giving you leftovers to take home. If you want beef ribs, which you do, this is the best way to get them, otherwise you have to do an all beef rib plate. Overall, excellent BBQ that is worth the hype.
