An Express game is a good cheap way to relax and forget about what’s worrying you. My trips to the park usually include a frozen Margarita which really helps beat back the heat. The tickets to attend are relatively inexpensive, but the food and drinks are quite the opposite. Unless I’m in a rush, I always stop to eat on the way to the park.
I don’t really follow the team, as they’re minor league, but always check their website to see who may be in rehab from the big leagues (Ranger’s farm club). I just happened to receive tickets to a game in 2011 when Scott Hamilton was there to rehab while on Injured Reserve with the Rangers. He of course hit several home runs that night. It was quite an entertaining evening.
Also, I recommend buying tickets on the 3rd base side of the park. This is not only behind the dugout of the Express, but in the afternoon shade.
