We have been to Golden Joy BBQ several times ordering out Chinese food.
Take out is very good. Today with a group of us went for Dim Sum. The
parking is plentiful as it is in a mall area. The environment is a typical Chinese
one. The surrounding noise level was somewhat high as we sat around a table
for 9. It was difficult hearing our friends across the table. The servers were
Chinese speaking even though we were mostly English speaking.
The servers of the dim sum came by quite often and a little pushy in offering
us the different varieties of food: shrimp, shark fin, baked and steam bun
flat noodles, Chinese broccoli, jung, turnip, fried taro, etc. We ordered two
of the ones we like so that nearly everyone can have one and tried others out.
The portions were good and the price is reasonable, ranging from $2.65,
$3.25 for medium and $3.65 for large. Additionally we ordered two dishes
from their menu: roast pork and noodles. Eating dim sum once in a while
is good although ordering take out from the menu is a better value.
