We spent one night at the Hyatt House Dallas/Richardson. The staff were very friendly and we didn't experience any problems. The hotel is away from any traffic noise but very close to the freeway so it's convenient to get around to restaurants or other city destinations, yet nice and quiet with no traffic noise in the room. Our only complaint is that we were given a room next to the elevator and could hear it when it stopped on our floor. The breakfast was fairly good but unfortunately we got there during the last hour and some items were no longer available (like biscuits and gravy) but we still found enough to satisfy our needs. Room was nice, clean and we had no problems with it. We used the business center and found a pc available whenever we needed it.

We would like to thank Lyn, Sandra, John, Eddie, Jeremy, David and the cleaners for an absolutely amazing time. Everyone was extremely helpful and we felt we were among friends. The hotel and apartment were ALWAYS clean, the pool well maintained – professionalism was there throughout the hotel. We were there for 14 days and not once did the quality slip – WE WOULD DEFINITLY USE THIS HOTEL AGAIN and if we could we would GIVE IT A RATING OF 6! We are back in England now, missing you guys and Texas!

I came here on a business trip and I had a blast here and enjoyed everything that was offered. Lke the other responders, the suite was just like an IKEA catalog, lol. The environment was awesome because I was comfortable and the people are super nice. Everything was clean and unexpected. Whenever I come back in Dallas I'll be sure to check in here!

My room looked like it was straight out of an IKEA catalog!
The rooms are HUGE, newly renovated and are like a contemporary apartment!
Definitely had more of a "homey" feel as opposed a typical hotel room.

Stainless steel fridge, dishwasher, microwave, toaster etc.
Check-in lady was really friendly and personable.
Great location but set far enough back that I didn't hear the highway noise.
They have social hour in the evening with FREE food and beer/wine.
Also, a free breakfast. Free Wifi that's shockingly fast. Flat screen TV w/ gobs of channels AND a DVD/CD player!

There were some cons though but not a big deterrent overall.
The AC kept turning off automatically. Not sure if the people above me were fat folks or what, but they were seriously heavy-footed. It sounded like a horse was above me - so get a top floor, for sure!

I would stay here again and highly recommend this place to others - especially longer term travelers as this place feels like home!
