There is no atmosphere at this little place in Port Isabel but the food is great and the service is quick.. We ordered a dozen oysters on the half-shell and were served 14. they were as fresh as can be and definitely satisfied my oyster craving.
We had one of their "plates" which was broiled. The crab cake was wonderful.. I don't like spicy food, so I asked if the "blackened" plate, which is the broiled plate would be spicy and was told it wasn't. It was delicious. Well seasoned, but no heat.
They serve soft drinks, ice tea and beer.
Since it's in Port Isabel, there is no need to buck the traffic on South Padre Island, and the prices aren't as high as Island priced, either.
We will definitely be going back.
