The owners are so rude!!!!! I called to confirm reservations and the man who answered acted like I asked for a kidney.. I thought maybe a bad day and kept the reservations only to be treated rudely the entire time we were there. They over charged my credit card and would not fix it. I had to get the credit card company involved. The place is very runned down they do not control loud parties on the stairway/ outside hall. I could not even get them to answer the phone when there was a problem at night. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The property is becoming quite worn, but the BIG problem is the manager. We requested a top (fourth) floor room. We got it, but the AC was not working properly. We stayed one night hoping that it would be repaired (and having no other place to go). Next morning, we looked around and found the Bay Tree over by Cline's Landing and reserved a room there.

When we went back to the Seabreeze to move out, the manager advised us that it would cost an additional $50 since we didn't stay for our entire 5 days. Even thought there was no AC. (It's HOT in Texas at that time of year.) We've been battling to get this charge back from American Express ever since.

I was quoted a rate of $56 per day for off-season rates - paid $89 per day! We were booked in a room for Friday & had to change rooms Saturday - was told we could pack our belongings & come back after 12:30 & the new room would be ready for us. OK - I went along with this, we went out to eat & came back @ 1:30 givinh them an extra hour. Was rudely informed by another desk person that we couldn't check into the other room until 4PM - when I told her we were quoted 12:30, she said that the person that told us that was new & didn't know what she was doing!! The place looks great on the website, but don't be fooled like we were!! We had to hang around the Island until 4PM to be able to drop our things off. Was a terrible place & we'll probably never go back to Port Aransas again!!!

My husband and I stayed at this property for 4 nights. The owner/manager checked us in and then proceeded to avoid us at every opportunity from this point on. I never attempted to hold a conversation with the man, only to say "good morning/good evening or common courtesies when passing in the hallway.

We returned from dinner one night to find the motel in complete darkness. Of course we had no light, no a/c or information on what was happening or the length of time to expect this power outtage. I walked to the owner/manager's unit and knocked on the door to ask what the problem was. I was rudely told that "the power is out, can't you see that!!!" I stated that yes in fact, I could see that, but I expected the management to let their paying customers know what was going on. He then slammed the door in my face.

I would advise people to avoid this property, not because the property was bad, but because of the bad manners of the management/owners.
