“Unexpectedly good”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2014

We went to eat here because most everything in Port A was closed (10:05). At first I was not impressed- lots of cigarette smoke. I realize it's a bar but at home it is no smoking in bars and we are accustomed to this now. It also looks like a dive. However, the food was soo good. I was expecting typical bar food. We had the smoked Gouda fondue and the tuna and shrimp entree and for dessert the brownie cooked with bacon topped with a crown Caramel sauce- not too sure about the dessert. Awesome if they took out the bacon! Food was very good and the local band was great as well. The food is pricey but I would return.

“Best food and music!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2014

I come here often to sit and hear their great bands. The food is excellent, especially the Kobe burger, and pasta dishes, especially the shrimp with tarragon cream sauce.
Portions are very generous, and their calamari is some of the best I've ever had.
Great atmosphere and this is where locals hang out. I love the fact that it's mostly where middle aged people come, and not so much college kids or the younger crowds doing shots.
They book the best blues and rock and roll bands!

“Dive Bomb”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2014

I hear the food is good, but we could not get the attention of the bartender or a server to find out. Place was really loud and lots of young over-intoxicated individuals crowding the bar and isles. A pack of girls refused to let anyone up to the bar to get a drink and the bartender would not walk across the bar to take the order. Our group left after 10 minutes and went else where. Band sounded decent, such a shame.

Had the fresh flounder and some beers. Food was fresh and drinks were cold. Service lacked a little. We came at the end of a shift. Overall would reccomend

“Not worth the $$!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2014

Ate here last night with a girlfriend . waitress was really nice I'll give them that . The menu seems promising....and then you get your food. Total rip off. My fish sandwich had hardly any fish. Not once did I actually taste fish while eating it. The grilled veggies were not cooked all the way nor did they have any flavor. And way too much onion everywhere! The veggies were half onions. 4 jumbo shrimp was good but again not good enough for the $. One drink that was a double and 4 jumbo shrimp plate with tax was 40.93? Just too pricey for not hardly enough food and not good enough taste. Save your money and go to harbor lights grill and get some amazing seafood.
