I remember when La Mirage was empty for multiple years due to the real estate bust. While condo prices have risen considerably along the Texas Coast, I don't think La Mirage should be charging as much as they are for the property given the need for maintenance and updates. Location is great, but parking facilities and plumbing all need updates.

I recently visited La Mirage and had a wonderful time. I read through the comments on the trip advisor before I came and the negative ones I think are misleading. The property is maintained very well. When I was there maintence seemed very busy trying to keep the guests happy and fix whatever they could. The front desk and managment were just as nice. They are willing to help you with whatever they can and will go above and beyond to do so. Someone said the front desk was run by a bunch of high school girls. If that person would have talked with any of the girls they would know that each of them are working their way through college and were very helpful with info about the area. La Mirage provided us with a wonderful escape for the summer and we will be returning next year!
