“Tried it again - second strike”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2013 via mobile

Service is so bad. Unprofessional - I "get" island time, etc. but good grief - you really don't know what that mini pie is in your own bakery case?? (nor do you care). Tried breakfast this time, coffee was BAD (stale, cold) baked goods were okay. Purchases charged out wrong - whatever, Too bad- this could be a cool place.

“The bread pudding alone makes it worth the trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 27, 2013

We had tried their bread pudding at a friend's house and wanted to get some. The brisket sandwiches were very good, as were the seasoned fries. but the $3.50 serving of bread pudding is delicious and, seriously, enough for the whole family. it is unbelievably huge, half a meatloaf pan at least. We would definitely go back, and plan to. Our waitress was a sweetheart too.

“Nothing special”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2013

Great for kids, and if you want an awesome cinnamon rolls. But otherwise it's okay.
Definitely takes a long time to check out if busy…and the hyped up BBQ is just alright. Nothing to write home about. The sauces are actually better than the meet. It's a bit fatty.

Fried fish/shrimp is just like everyone else's.

“service is hit or miss ”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2013

Been coming here since it opened. The meat menu items are better than the seafood. The burgers are good but somehow their French fries had a rubbery texture. Very odd. Affordable house wines. Good beer selection.

The help is hit or miss. Sometimes we have had great service and other times bit so much. The owners seem to hired inexperienced kids which is a nice gesture for the community but not for the customers.

This place has good service, good food, and good prices. They also do BBQ and have lunch specials all day long. Plus they have a bakery. This place is a WINNER.!!!
