“Good diner food by the beach.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2013

This is a small place but the wait is never that long. I have only been for breakfast so that is what I will review. Eggs cooked perfectly. They need more help to refill the drinks and such. Its like mel's diner with flo in here. Good prices and food. We always visit when we are in town.

“Won't go back”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2013

Service was good. Food wasn't flavorful. We ordered chicken fried steak and pan seared chicken. Portions were small. Food was pricey.

“Dinner Like Mama Made It”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2013

Four of us went to dinner; they are open until 9 p.m. We had onion rings for an appetizer and they were the best we've had in a long time. The youngest had chicken tenders and french fries. He said they were delicious. One had blackened chicken with baked potato and corn on the cob. All three items were great. Another had chicken fried chicken, corn on the cob, and mashed potatoes with cream gravy. It looked so tempting I took a bite. Delicious; made me wonder just how good their chicken fried steak would be. I had blackened fish, three butterflied shrimp, brown rice and broccoli. Fantastic. We also had a bowl of chicken noodle soup which screamed home made. It is not a fancy place, but if you are looking for quality tasty food, Avery's is a must.

“Great Breakfast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2013

Avery's didnt look like much from the outside, but the food inside is great. Crystal offered us great service, and was a smiley, friendly server. We had a quick breakfast there before heading out, and were pleasantly surprised. Portion sizes were good, and full of flavor. Cinnamon rolls were quite large, although a little short on frosting.

I would highly recommend Avery's.
